AC wasn’t cooling as much as we want, but at night was nice to open a window.

That is the most beautiful place we stayed in Italy. Everything was so nice and cool. Specially the area with the sun-beds indeed the oak trees. Territory is awesome, pool, I can count non stop. Restaurant is great, even locals from Siena coming for dinner. Special recommendation - duck. And great thanks to staff and Paloma, she made our stay even greater.

There was a step in the bathroom that became a trip hazard with tiles of the same color. The primary issue is the lack of visual differentiation between the step and the surrounding floor, making it difficult to perceive the change in level

The location was spectacular, as was the castle itself. The food, the wine...all wonderful! We loved lazing in the hammock listening to the birds and cicadas. The view from the top of the tower was beautiful, too. A perfect stay in Tuscany - we would have loved to stay even longer.

It’s not every day that you get to stay in a Medieval Castle. Beautiful grounds and a lovely room overlooking the valley. Very quiet and peaceful with plenty of outdoor seating with bar service for relaxing. We had dinner here a couple of nights and it was amazing each time. Tiramisu was delicious! Loved our stay.

Good to know, that you need to rent a car. There's really no other way to get around. Also, good to know, that the ebikes need to be reserved in advance.

We loved this place! It's incredibly beautiful, both the castle and the views, the restaurant is nice (especially the risotto), the breakfast is perfect, it is nicely located (a short drive from castles, medieval towns and vineyards in the area). It has a nice pool, rooftop views and we also enjoyed our wine tasting and a beautiful walk through the vineyards.

No hot water for the shower, and later in the day it was not a consistent temp- too hot or too cold.

It is very old and not so clean in the rooms. There is not enough space in the common areas if the hotel fully booked. They ask you to check out in 10:30

Not the fault of the property- we did not have a car. We were able to get a bus from Siena on the way there but did not realise that the buses do not run on a Sunday- taxi was €100 for a 30min journey Also dinner felt very overpriced- vegetarian option for one course was some leek and puree
