Lucca is a gorgeous city, especially within the amazingly intact city wall, where this very nice place is located. The room (and the common area) had a very tasteful design, simple yet elegant. The bedroom itself was not big, but there were plenty of shelf and wardrobes. There were a good sized and equally tasteful bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the aircon did a good job. There was no fridge in the room but there was one in a small, shared kitchen outside the room. TV and wifi worked fine. The host, Andrea, was very friendly and helpful. Each morning he served cappuccino and a delicious, fresh pastry (although I really don't understand the Italian breakfast culture - albeit yummy it must cause a terrible blood sugar dip before lunch - unless you, as we did, dope yourself with gelato or similar to keep it high).

It’s walking distance to everywhere.

The room looked like it was just remodeled, very nice, modern. Andrea was incredible, he was attentive to our stay and needs and was very helpful when asked for help about the town.

We were ok, but the same as other reviews steep stairs to get to the b&b, so if mobility issues not ideal.

Everything, Andrea is a fantastic host. Letting us know where best to visit, and where to eat, very approachable. The b&b is only small, but everything is to hand, including pastries that Andrea brings in the morning. Good shower, comfortable bed, lovely and clean, what more do you need!! Bang in the centre.

Steep stairs to get to the second floor where Chill in Tuscany is located but the host carried up my suitcase.

Unfortunately the two flights of steep steps was a struggle with our suitcases and so not for people with mobility issues. But the advantages and benefits of the apartment far outweighed this inconvenience.

Breakfast was served by our host Andrea. Fresh pastries and delicious coffee, accompanied by a friendly chat about plans for the day. Andrea was helpful in offering suggestions about where and what to visit!, methods of transport etc. The location was ideal. Everywhere just a few minutes walk from the accommodation and in one of the quieter parts of the city.

Although my time in Pisa wasn't up to standard, the room was certainly fine for an evening. The bathroom was detached which did cause some confusion on who was to use it. I would say the check in process could be a little clearer.

Just be aware there are two flights of stairs up to the property😅 😃but that would not stop us staying here again.

We had the large double room which was spacious and very comfortable. The location is brilliant for exploring all Lucca has to offer. Andrea the host is very friendly and has lots of information about things to do, although there is no breakfast to book Andrea brings pastries each morning and makes your coffee/tea for you. The communal area is for all to use to make drinks or snacks.

Steep steps up to 2nd floor entrance - not a problem for me, and apparently ground floor rooms available in another nearby building. No breakfast provided as such, but coffee machine and capsules for use any time and Andrea brought croissants around 8.30. I was too late to book single room, so paid a little more than budgeted for double, which was, however, very nice.

Spotless, quiet room. Very good location within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants and main sites, (and only 40 m from a launderette, which I needed). Great room and good power shower. Useful information about sites worth visiting. Flexible about leaving luggage early and picking it up late.

There were many steps if you were carrying heavy bags. The step lights were none. Therefore, when I left to carry my luggage, it went extremely slow in order not to fall. The B&B kept costs in mind when renovating. Its design is superb. However, they cut corners to gain a bigger profit.

The location was perfect! The room had a clean environment. It was perfect if you were a minimalist and I am not.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming pension! The room was incredibly stylish and tastefully decorated, and everything was spotlessly clean. There's a small kitchen nearby where you can enjoy delicious coffee and sweet pastries for breakfast – a perfect start to the day. The host is incredibly charming and helpful, always making sure you feel right at home. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Lucca, with all the major attractions within walking distance. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city. The host also offers great restaurant recommendations and will happily make reservations for you upon request. I can't recommend this place enough!
