Besides the staff member that checked us in, the staff seemed stressed out. They told me that we could get coffee at 7 if we would have to miss breakfast because of having a boat excursion scheduled, but when we asked for the coffee the next morning, one of the breakfast staff was stressed out about this and let us know that this was an inconvenience. They also said that we could pay them a reduced rate for parking tickets the first night we arrived, but when we asked everyday after that, they were not available.

Only small things to improve are the AC is so-so and the bathroom plumbing has a venting issue that created an odor most of our stay, though some days it would go away.

Beautiful garden with a seafront terrace for the restaurant- it’s certainly the nicest on the oceanfront and newly renovated rooms. Location is perfect to walk to the port each day and parking area is connected to the hotel (8euro per day) so you don’t have to move it. The staff was so kind and welcoming, helpful with any request. WiFi works great. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return- there was nowhere else in town I wanted to be at!

Amazing stay directly at the main promenade in Cala Gonone. We highly recommend to book in advance during high season, as this hotel has a great location and due to the fact that the town is small. From there, you can due great (boat) trips to famous Cala Luna etc., or explore different beaches close by by car. Breakfast was also nice, with a nice ocean view on their terrace. Parking lots are available close by. Rooms were clean and were fully equipped.

It was disappointment, that absolute majority of "4 star hotel" rooms have no view at all. One cannot consider tiny window to small and narrow patio/stairs as a courtyard view. Another limitation is unusually early check-out (10:30).

The place has an amazing location. We rented a room with an ocean view; realistically you had to open the front door of the room to then sit in a balcony/walkway to enjoy the ocean view. A bit of an oversell but not that bad. To whoever owns this hotel; with a bit of a freshen up/ update you can have a great hotel. Please note that the staff were absolutely amazing! The bed was fine, in fact, great for Italy standards. I just wish Italians learned how to make comfortable mattresses -- but this is not something you can fault the hotel for. So, really, it is not even something bad that I can say about the hotel.

The location is great. Right across from the water. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant is pretty good, damn good by "in the hotel" standards. Room was comfortable and huge.

Where do we begin. We don’t believe the photos represent the true condition of the hotel. Unfortunately upon arrival we knew this hotel wasn’t what it looked like in the photos. We were shown to our room and upon opening the door, the room was completely dark with no natural light. When we asked if it was possible to move to another room with more light, we were given a room that was even darker. The bathroom was also very dark, with no window and the shower was barely functioning with an awful flow of water. Also, the bathroom door didn’t shut. We also noted that the bed was in fact, 2 singles pushed together with a single sheet over the mattresses, so my partner fell through the bed during the night. Also the hotel has a number of ponds surrounding the grounds and this led to mosquitos entering our room and leaving us covered in bites. I will say, the staff were kind and friendly and when we left a day early due to the dissatisfaction, they gave us our third night at a discounted rate. They were very disappointed to hear we were unhappy.

Let's start with the staff! They were absolutely fabulous. Extremely accommodating and kind. Nothing g was to much trouble. I managed to lock our passports in their safe and couldn't get it unlocked, they actually broke the safe for me and didn't even make it feel like an inconvenience. The location is stunning! Easy walk to everything and absolutely beautiful setting right on the beach. The restaurant is next level. The breakfast I ckuded is absolutely delightful with so many fresh choices of fruit, pastors, egg station, cheese etc Dinners are absolutely amazing. The food is sensational. If you aren't staying at this hotel, you must book as it gets busy. The rooms were huge and comfortable and very clean. Each with outdoor furniture to enjoy their beautiful gardens. I would stay nowhere else in Cala Gonone. This hotel was absolutely 5 star! Thank you to the team for looking after us

We were not really satisfied with the hotel. The personal was not at all nice, they were not very flexible. In the garden there were some turtles living in dirty water, which probably influenced the big amount of mosquitos in the ground floor rooms. The breakfast could be improved.

The best part was the location and the climbing plant. The living room inside was comfortable.

Perfectly located, stayed in a junior suite with great views of the ocean. Staff were welcoming and very hospitable, nothing was a problem and they would go the extra mile to meet any request. We had a fabulous stay, the breakfasts were great with the custom made omelettes a favourite. Molto Molto bene.

We booked two rooms by accident and no help was offered to cancel and rebook. This location also doesn't have parking which means you have to pay for parking close by.

The staff were so rude especially the owner/manager and everything cost extra. Coffee at breakfast extra, parking extra, sun loungers extra. They even held a deposit for beach towels that had to be returned to the front desk when you were finished or you would be charged $10 euro for each one.

The staff is very friendly and nice, you can always get answers from them. The view is very good from second and third floor, you can enjoy the sea view and the sun while lying on a sun longer. The dinner is also worth trying especially the white wine.

We had a ground floor room which only had a small window, the room was dark with no views. There was no hotel parking, the hotel is next to a public car park with additional charges of six euros a day, there is also some free car park up the road.

Good location overlooking the beach.At the quieter part of Cala Gonone however very close to bars shops and restaurants. Beautiful views from the restaurant.
