Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandThe rooms, while being comfortable and clean are quite basic. Upgraded could be done to the shower the table and chair as well as some deco to warm up a bit the ambience.
The location is straight on the seaside close to the harbor. I planned a weekend of sailing practice so it was perfect for me. Very good restaurant

ItalyA bit expensive if we consider the quality of the rooms. They are quite old style and little.
The position and the restaurant are amazing. The food is really delicious. The view from the room is so beautiful and peaceful.

GermanyThere was no view at all; the promenade infront of the hotel was under construction and we did not get any decent view. Due to off season the outdoor pool was of course closed ( to be fair they made it clear upfront).
The location was close to some of the touristic places and hotel itself was pretty decent for a three star. Good service, clean, good breakfast; nothing to complain about. We liked the lobby bar in particular. Free parking during off season.

United KingdomShame that the pool wasn't open but we were visiting out of season. The pool looks lovely though
Loved the location on a bay near the cinque terre and away from the crowds. Le Grazie is very quiet in November! We enjoyed being able to get around on public transport. Quick bus ride from the hotel to Porto Venere which is a lovely town. An easy bus ride to La Spezia for trains to all the beautiful villages of the cinque terre where we enjoyed a great walk between villages. It's easy to get the train back to the airport. We enjoyed the restaurant and the great service from the friendly hotel staff.

United KingdomThe rooms could do with some modernising and the breakfast would benefit from some more savoury options.
The pool is a nice addition and we had a large ground floor terrace.

This is our 3rd visit. Lovely hotel with a perfect location on the harbour. It has a lovely pool with plenty of seating around it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is pristine. Lots of cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk serving good food. Good bus route, especially for Porto Venere.

United KingdomThe only drawback is that location is a bit of a way from connections to other places. This makes it very peaceful and authentic (compared to other areas rammed with tourists!) but it is necessary to take the bus or walk to get into Porto Venere or bus to La Spezia. This could so easily be solved with a shuttle service to Porto Venere (that would be my recommendation to make it a perfect stay!).
The pool was fabulous and the breakfast was brilliant. Location was peaceful and serene, and I had a single room with a balcony view over the harbour which was lovely. Room was cosy, but this was what I expected, so it was absolutely fine. Very clean. The harbour-side restaurant and bar in the evenings was also excellent and generally there was a nice atmosphere around.
