It is very central to the heart of Lecce with a small piazza below. The property is beautifully appointed. Immaculately clean and private but at the same time very personal because the staff are so friendly and professional. Beautiful linen incredible breakfast and totally relaxing and comfortable. Centrally located in the old town. Easy 20 minutes walk from the train station. Small lift so no need to lug cases up the stairs. Spacious room with door opening to a communal balcony. Room had bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and a coffee pod machine. Bathroom was also spacious. Breakfast was really good with different options everyday. The omelette was amazing. Breakfast can be eaten outside on the deck if the weather is good. The staff are very attentive and friendly.

Central location good for a short stay, or sojourn without an auto. Parking in Lecce quite problematic. Little or no street parking except with hourly payments, and a daily maximum. Very dated street parking machines, often only coin fed. Alternative is private parking, most modern PARKEJOO. But quite expensive at €100 per week. Entry and exit difficult in the tight spiral, as shown by the many dents and marks on the walls. Though the Dimora has multiple windows providing soundproofing, the southernmost room, spacious and bright, faces a street with a VERY LOUD BAR, a wannabee outdoor discotheque, open 6 days per week until 3:00 AM. If you are not a very sound sleeper, avoid the Santa Chiara room. Though the Dimora is well maintained, it could profit from a minor refresh. Some fixtures like inside doorknobs not well affixed to the doors.

Central location excellent for a visit to Lecce historic centre.. Walking distance to all important Lecce attractions, entertainment, shopping etc. Very attentive and helpful hosts. Good breakfast. Good shower and bathroom facilities.

This was like a home away from home! The property is simply BEAUTIFUL! The location is perfect. But best of all is the staff… the young people who are managing the property are friendly and so helpful in every way to make this a memorable experience. My time at Dimora San Giuseppe has been the best part of my 2 week stay in Italy!

Awesome staff! Beautiful room and boutique hotel. We stayed in winter but it must be lovely to stay here in summer as it has a beautiful outdoor area. The breakfast was simple but great as we only wanted something light. I can highly recommend this hotel as it is so close to everything and right in the centre of the old town

Everything ….Of all the places we stayed on our trip to southern Italy , this was the best . A boutique B&B within a palazzo. Carefully renovated but with all modern essentials. Super comfortable rooms and delightful hosts . The building is right in the centre of historical Lecce , a beautiful city easily walkable to everywhere . Covered Parking recommended was less than 10 minutes walk away . We loved Dimora San Giuseppe and hope to return

No complaints. But FYI: Because of its great location in the historic district, parking at the property was impossible. We parked remotely and affordably at Parkejoo, near Garibaldi Gardens. It's a clean, well lit and secure underground lot, open 24 hours. The walk was an easy 10 minutes with our bags. One night some partiers nearby raised a racket until very late, but shutters on the windows reduced the volume by 80% or more. We slept fine.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. The bed was quite comfortable and breakfast was very good. The weather was too cool to get much from the nice (and very large) deck off the Dimora's breakfast area, but it would be great at other times of the year. Service was excellent. Best of all was the location, well inside the Historic District, and in easy walking distance to everything. There are several restaurants in the area. Our favorite, Tratoria Nonna Tetti, is 4 minutes' walk away, near St. Matthew's Church. The church is small but extraordinary. The tour guides at nearby Charles V Castle are excellent; that's a fine place to visit, too. Fact is, Lecce's a beautiful city.

Nothing could have been better, I loved it.

This place is magnificent. The room is large and very comfortable, with a lot of classic Italian style. It's a small hotel, so it feels very intimate and special. There is a roof terrace with an absolutely stunning view. The breakfast is delicious and flexible, and Christian, who looks after the hotel during the day, is completely charming.

Self-check in was a little difficult for a 75-year-old alone at night, though staff was quite helpful with text messages throughout process.

Due to central location the safe parking that we found was a 15 minute walk albeit this was the trade off with being in an exceptional area!!

This was a large stunning room in an old building, right on the door step of the Ampitheater and the historical centre, with a great roof terrace for relaxing and taking in the cities atmosphere!
