Bedroom was very basic. No tea/coffee facilities. Bed was 2 singles pushed together and quite hard.

Decoration could have been better. The painting wasn't finished. Breakfast could have been served more quickly.

Lovely view from the room. Quiet. Good size room and ensuite. Facilities as stated. Handy for visiting the church next door which I did several times and enjoyed a free singing concert, A short 7minute walk through a lovely park to the station. Trams even nearer.

Very basic room facilities not even a bottle of water or option to make coffee. Our toilet was not flushing although it was fixed the same day when we told them. But in the evening the same problem again of the toilet. Luckily we could still use the toilet in the kids' room. Yes I reserved 2 rooms because of the convenience of having 2 toilets for 4 people. But I didn't bother anymore telling them again because it was our last evening.

Staff were very friendly and always helpful. This hotel has the charm, the concept fits the city. Rooms are spacious enough. There is breakfast though limited choices but was fine for us.

The location in San Giovanni near the Metro stop and cathedral .The size of the room. The breakfast (and staff serving) was very good. The nearby greenery of the dog park full of parrots and neighbouring basilica and Warhol exhibition.

Quirky place, should have realised it was inside a church building (but hadnt) , amazing place. Rooms clean, basic, comfortable, breakfast basic, sufficient but certainly none of it luxury . happy for what we paid and suited our purposes. Superb easy walk through local area, through the city walls and on to the colloseum and beyond. great location

However when we left we had to pay extra city tax, reason unknown. It says on the website we should’ve payed £42, and was quoted £42 on the day of our arrival, yet when we checked out it was a different receptionist who charged us £71. Not sure why we had to pay extra as was not explained, but I feel cheated by this.

LOVED THE BREAKFAST STAFF! The men that served us breakfast were smiley and chatty and polite, would always say hi to us around the hotel. The room was very basic but affordable.

Breakfast is not self serve. You must ask staff for your selections which are yogurt, sweet cakes, slices of cheese and slices of ham. The staff serving are good and friendly. Not their fault breakfast is skimpy.

Great place and amazing atmosphere. Hotel is attached to basilica and rooms arranged in monastery look incredible. It is not luxurious but definitely worth to experience.

The breakfasts were a bit lacking, but okay overall. The biggest complaints were the beds - the mattresses were very hard to sleep on, but we were too busy exploring the city to even notice to be honest!

Domus Sessoriana is a lovely hotel if you're looking for something non-pricy in the close-to-the-city-center but less touristy area of the city. The staff was friendly, the rooms were nice and air-conditioned, and the bathroom even had a bidet! The rooftop terrace is to die for and sitting there at sunset was one of the highlights of our Rome trip.

Unfortunately, WiFi was not available in the room, only in common areas.

Hotel located quite near metro and bus stations. About 20 mins to Colosseum on foot. Very clean rooms, maybe not the newest, but comfortable. Breakfast included in price. The staff was helpful and nice, e.g. when we wanted to borrow an iron, they organized it for us.

The property was very old but amazing. very clean and comfortable. The staff were really polite and helpful with arranging a transfer taxi for 4 of us at 3.30am in the morning. Would definately go back and hopefully have more time to explore this heritage site.

The breakfast was alright, but if it was a little bit more versatile it would have been wonderful - The breakfast terrace was on the top of the building, it was really beautiful, the view was amazing.

It's a nice and safe place with friendly staff. There are many options nearby, such as a park, a bus station in front of the building, and a metro station about 10 minute walking away. And we were able to leave our baggage at the reception before the official check-in and after check-out - without any fee. Very much recommend.

Our room could hear everything from the corridor outside, but for the cheap price of the room it's to be expected I think.
