The rooms were small and a bit plain for the price paid. Perhaps the renovated rooms would be better.

The history of this hotel is what intrigued us. It had a lovely courtyard for breakfast and a nice spread. It also was in a nice location, close to restaurants. The rooms were disappointing, however, being kind of small and dark. We had the executive double. I read they had renovated some rooms, however, so maybe the other rooms were nicer. I would think getting rooms right on the ground floor facing the courtyard may be better.

We just spent 5 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The staff were friendly and always helpful. If you want a quite spot that is only a few minutes walk to restaurants and everything Trastevere has to offer, this is the perfect spot.

We had a short, but great stay. Everything was very efficient and the hotel staff couldn’t be more polite or accommodating. It’s an historic property with a beautiful garden serving as a stunning setting for your breakfast. Cocktails were excellent and the location is perfect!

Nothing comes to mind, I really enjoyed my visit here and, if I return to Rome, will stay at the Donna Camilli Savelli again!

Everything! No complaints! Breakfast was very good and included just about everything one would want. Location was fun and a lot of energy. My room was super comfortable. The communal garden was gorgeous. The staff was wonderful. Always there to answer questions, provide directions and make dinner reservations (great choices too)! They are professional, courteous and fun!

Wonderful staff. The hotel is so interesting. Clean. Gorgeous. The breakfast was great. The staff made reservations for dinner for us and provided transportation to the airport at a great price.

Parking was easy, however, it's a little upsetting that they charge for it, considering space seems to be plentiful.

Breakfast was exceptional. Lots of choices and everything was really good. Staff was very professional and well trained to receive tourists and spoke great English. The property is outstanding, a former monastery that has been renovated into a hotel. Beautiful inside and outside. The location is great in Trastevere, Rome's most beautiful neighborhood, a walking distance from many restaurants and bars. Highly recommend it!

We didn’t like leaving and hope to return!

We loved the elegant, historic building with its garden for breakfast or tea. Pick up a bottle of wine from the bar and view all of Rome from its rooftop terrace.

My first room overlooking the street, a bit noisy.

The wonderful, helpful staff. The room overlooking the inner garden with the magnolia in bloom, beautifully updated. Breakfast (and the wonderful breakfast staff). Terrific cappuccino - hot, great coffee, personalized design in the foam. Location just a bit out of the tourist areas.

breakfast was great, room was good in size but considering it was a monastery, of course it does not have the largest windows. location was great, just walking distance from many restaurants,bars and cafes. Especially the courtyard is a great place to relax, have breakfast or dinner. The kitchen is very well too. There is also parking as well as 24 hours reception. But the most important of all is the people; all personnel was super friendly, kind and helpful in all domains of hospitality. We also had an unlucky incident where our baby got fever and they helped us in many scenarios where we felt we are not alone. Thanks for all of it!
