We were a bit surprised at first that we went down below street level and there was a window high up in the room, but what we needed was there and as we said the breakfast and Tako were very good

Location was good, close to Manzoni metro, shops and cafes not far away. Tako the friendly lady who prepared breakfast for us each morning was lovely and helpful she also left us a tray of food for our early departure morning.

- Lack of flexibility: I wanted the change de dates months prior to my arrival and the host refused (no availability). Then, I asked if they could waver the cancelation fee, since there were still almost 2 months ahead and they could rebook it, they also said no. I ended up paying for two days I didn't stay there. The thing is when talking to Valerio, he was super kind and tried to book it on the day. It didn't work of course, but if they had opened the dates months before I am sure they'd be able to find guesses. My recommendation would be to talk to Valerio if you need any help - the other host did not seem really flexible or willing to help. Book it if your dates are set in stone. It will be impossible to change dates. - Lack of information: I missed general check-in instructions being provided before my arrival. I had to call once I arrived, host declined the call but answered via text on WhatsApp. It would also been helpful to receive general info on the b&b at arrival (breakfast hours, cleaning of bedrooms, etc). I missed breakfast the first day as I left earlier.

Great location, we walked around 15min to the Colosseum. Metro station and bus stop just around the corner. The place was very clean! Breakfast is served a bit late, but if you ask, they prepare it ahead of time and leave it in your bedroom. Valerio was really kind and helpful :) The lady that served breakfast was also great! Your room will be cleaned daily.

We loved everything. Even though it was a basement unit with a small little window, it was super quiet and comfortable.

The basement level room was very charming, clean and in a quite neighborhood. The breakfast was extremely wonderful with eggs, fruit, yogurt, breakfast sandwich, toast, and cornetto. Our host was super kind. Even though it is a little out of the way of tourist locations, metro (bus, subway, local train) was very close and easy to use. We bought a 48 hr pass at the local metro station, which was super handy. There is a great supermarket several blocks away.

Room has window but has poor access to daylight, so have to rely on lights in apartment.

We had an excellent stay in doubleB, while enyoing its great location and hospitality. Everything was great and we must say that SURJA (staff girl) was extraordinary helpful, professional and kind. However we must say that matresses are cery ubcomfortable and soft but its nothing bad comparing to allaround great stay!! Highly recommended

Nothing, was a great place to start the trip.

Away from the touristy area, here you get proper restaurants.. While still in walking distance to almost everything. It's in an apartment building so locals are walking everywhere, you just blend in.

Check-in was a bit difficult. Firstly, they needed to send photos of my ID via WhatsApp. Then, when I arrived at the location, no-one answered the bell, I did not have any codes and also the WhatsApp number did not answer. Finally I had to call a phone number written on the wall to contact the person in the appartement who told me the code.

Spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Extremely helpful lady at the reception, very good home-made breakfast. Overall, when I finally managed to get into the property, everything was excellent. Porta Maggiore within a 10-minute walk, quiet street.

The hotel is at the ground floor.The only downside of this was the lack of daylight in the room, as the window was small.

I stayed here with my kids for a week. I liked the central location, but on a very quiet side street. It was very cozy in this small b&b. The owner Giorgia was constantly available to answer my questions via Whatsapp. Mary was very helpful and prepared very tasty breakfasts. I would definitely recommend this place for short stays.

Super friendly staff, the maid was lovely and prepared coffee for us in the mornings and cleaned up thoroughly each day. Really close and well connected to Termini and the Manzoni metro station.

Only appropriate for short stays as the rooms lack natural light and fresh air. The kitchen facilities are also mostly unavailable.

The apartment is well connected to most of the tourist attractions in Rome and you can even walk to the Colosseum. The rooms are very clean.
