The curtains are a bit thin and let some light through, but we still slept well.

We loved our stay at Fausto's house. Fausto communicated effectively via WhatsApp prior to our arrival and was there to greet us upon our arrival. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped (the kitchen had everything we needed, the laundry machine and space to hang out clothes was great as we were on the road for a long time, and umbrellas for the light rain). Both the main bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable. It is very well located on a very nice and fairly quiet street. It's right across from the puppet museum, which was a bonus for our 3 year old! I would recommend this place to families, couples or small groups of friends.

Although it's on a quiet street and has really good sound proofing, there is still quite a bit of noise when vehicles go past. But nowhere in Ortigia is quiet and I would still recommend staying here!

Great sized, well equipped apartment in an amazing location, right in the heart of Ortigia. 3 minutes walk to a beautiful swimming spot. Nice balcony. Fausto was really helpful. He met us at the property and gave us lots of info and recommendations. It's about a 20 minute walk from where Fausto recommends you can park (molo sant Antonio). That costs €15 per 24 hours but there are also some free spots in the streets near the car park (marked with white lines). We were lucky enough to get one of those.

Fausto was very kind and helpful. He responded quickly to my questions. The location was central and conveniently close to everything. His recommendations for restaurants and shops were excellent. Additionally, the pick-up from the bus station and drop-off at the train station were provided at a very reasonable price.

The place had everything from a washing machine, to a Bialletti for a nice cup of coffee on the cute balcony in the morning :) The location was very central and calm. Fausto was a great host and very responsive, even when I forgot my backpack after checkout, he helped us right away! :)

Fausto’s apartment was truly comfortable. We had everything needed to make the stay easy and enjoyable. Good assortment of dishes, pots and pans, salt, pepper, oregano, and coffee, were all available. The location could not have been better to explore the city! The balcony was a treat. We watched a small school group excitedly going to the puppet museum across the road. (A must see as well as the theater production) We felt like a local. We would gladly return. Fausto actually met us at the property to check-in and was very helpful both in advance with parking advice and once we were there with restaurant recommendations and other assistance. The room is very centrally located within walking distance of pretty much anything on Ortigia island and is extremely well stocked with kitchen appliances, utensils and basics for cooking. The bathroom was clean and included a washing machine which is always a bonus if you are travelling for extended periods of time. Also, a very cute little balcony and TV with some English channels was helpful (since our Italian is less than stellar...). Would definitley recommend staying at Fausto's house if you visit Syracuse!

The noise from garbage collection and passing scooters might disturb your sleep, so I recommend bringing earplugs. Other than that, there’s nothing to complain about!

Fausto is a wonderful host—he picked us up from the bus station, showed us some local spots along the way, and helped us get oriented. The apartment itself was lovely and clean, located in the best part of Syracuse. We also had access to a washing machine, an iron, and a hairdryer, which made our stay much more convenient. Just a short walk from the apartment is the heart of Ortigia, where you’ll find everything you need—local specialties, traditional wine bars, clothing shops, and delicious gelato. You also have easy access to the historical landmarks that Ortigia is known for. We’re truly grateful for the exceptional time we spent here.

The property is in a fantastic location. Close to everything in Ortygia but not on one of the thoroughfares that get mobbed by day trippers. Fausto was the perfect host. Met us at the door and gave us a comprehensive briefing on the apartment, his recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. He also has a booklet of that info in the apartment. The apartment is simple but comfortable and for the price is excellent value.

The location was very nice. It is close to restaurants, however, it is not a noisy area. The apartment is very nice and has everything you need. Fausto was very nice with us, gave us lots of explanations on what to do in Ortigia (what to visit, where to eat), he even left a few guides for us.

Fausto was really friendly and helpful, giving us all the necessary information. The apartment was exactly what I expected, fully equipped for longer stays and with a wonderful balcony for the morning coffee. The building is on a quiet street in the old Jewish district, but at the same time in the heart of everything. It's great for both long and short stays. We contacted Fausto via WhatsApp and he answered immediately giving us tips for parking our car safely.We loved it
