Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The staff was super helpful in every way answering every question. The location was perfect for our quick one night stay near the airport. She arranged a taxi for the next day and helped with transport from the airport

The instructions for the shuttle pickup. They sent a photo of the van, but being new to Rome airport I didn't know that arrivals was below departures and I missed the first shuttle and had to wait an hour. I then told them to have the driver call me to make sure I got on the next shuttle and I found him with little time to spare. Other than that all was great.
The location is thera the airport and has a shuttle bus. The woman at the desk around 6:00 - 7:00 PM was amazing. I told her I'd like a pizza delivered and she pulled out a menu from a place she said had wonderful pizza and she was right. I asked if they could send a beer as well,l and was very happy with the recommendation. She went out of her way and, as I was tired, It was an unexpected pleasure.

From very early morning it was noice. I could hear very loud closing door from other rooms. But that is not fault of hotel or staf.
Person who is working there is very nice and helpful. She offered to book taxi for me, but I arranged already. Location is very good.

Did not know there are no elevators, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs.
It’s convenient next to the airport, if you have an early flight to catch. Just 10 min away.

Its a bit of the main drag, and a walk in to town.
The location was a quiet residential area. The facilities were excellent. It was good value for money. Its a nice set up would book again.

First night bed.
10 min drive from the airport. they sent us directions (including photos) on where to fing the shuttle in front of the airport. We stayed 2 nights (1st night on arrival in Rome, and 4th night on our way out). First night bed was really uncomfortable, so i asked for another room for the 4th night. They directly changed us the room! they also advised some opened restaurants opening late (1st night) which was really helpful! and let us an umbrella for the last night as it was pouring!

It is called B&B but no breakfast is available.
Close to airport, convenient to catch early flights. Quite area, with some good restaurants around. Basic facilities.

Perfect place to stay nearby Fiumicino. Very clean and convenient. Only take into account that if you arrive late or leave very early in the morning, the taxi is 25 euros each way, although it is less than 10 minutes away.

It was hard to get from airport with public transportation, the only option was to taxi (around 8-9 p.m.) and the taxi cost 20 euros, which I think was unexpectedly consider that it takes only 9 minutes by car. In the room was quite a huge clump of dark hair (both of us, who stayed are blond).
Location was good, it takes only 15 minutes by walking to the port where located so many nice restaurants. Bed was comfortable. When it felted colder, we used air conditioner and in few minutes whole room was perfect temperature.

Taxi was hard to find for a short trip. All the taxi want the big fare for the trip to Rome.

Biggest disadvantage was the noise coming from neighbors even late in the evening. Loud speaking, child screaming, chair moving. I am not sure if it is usual or only due to Christmas day. View from the windows was not the nicest, but we did not really care about that.
Staff: I got help how to get to the hotel from the airport, and how we can manage self signing in. Was replying within a few minutes all the time. They also helped to get back to the airport. It was clean, big enough, all in all looked modern, with some older appliances out of use (like radiators). Coffee machine and snacks on a normal price in the reception was useful on a bank holiday.
