Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was no buses to or from airport and final train station , only taxi and we paid 25 euro for single ride ( around 10 minutes drive ) Apartment have no facilities as glass, plates etc . Nothing at all ! But still with fridge and stove . Garden was a bit dirty .
Nice apartment close to airport . Spacious and clean with 2 room, balcony and small garden . Staff was very friendly and help us with transport to airport early morning. In the evening we were able to take a walk ( 20 minutes approx ) and went down to the old part of town with canals and close to the beach . Lots of nice restaurants and bars mostly with fresh seafood . Nice atmosphere:)

Needs some cosmetic help the door to the bathroom was starting to rot from water damage. Shower did mot drain correctly and flooded the bathroom.
Great staff and the breakfast was amazing.

The property can only be reached by the taxi. Despite that it's only 4 km from the airport, the one way fare for 8 people is 50 eur. Property is offering the transfer but only with 1 personal car, and when we arrived there was a traffic jam, so the transfer was expected to be 40 minutes late. We have taken taxi from the airport, and it was for the same price as uncomfortable transfer from the property
Clean rooms, flexible and helpful staff. Good communication with staff in English. Typical Italian restaurants and pizzeria at 5 min walking distance.

1) Plugs for putting phone chargers etc are not many in the room. 2)We were unable to find any cooking utensils or any cleaning products in the kitchen, unsure if kitchen was in functional condition as we were there for one night to catch flight next day.
1)Location very close to airport. 2)Shuttle service with a very helpful driver picked us up at 02.00 am which we were not expecting--thank you. 3)Self-check in at 2 am , very simple and easy.

Hotel deeper in the city, aprox 30-40minutes to walk till the bus shuttle to Rome

I arrived late in the evening and host did not explain me the entrance and exits of the property. In the evening there was noise that interrupted the sleep. The location is quite far from the airport.
The room and the shower were good. The beds were comfortable.

Wall of the hotel is very thin. We heard everything that was going outside. We couldn't sleep until neighbors didn't slept and woke up when other guests came. No phone to call reception in the rooms. No public transport to come from the center of Rome.
Location is next to Fumicino airport. We stayed for one night before early flight. Room was clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. Staff was very friendly, suggested nearby places to eat, book a taxi.

The property communicated with us extremely well, and the check in was smooth and efficient despite our late arrival. Nice, comfy room, with all we needed for a one night stay at the start of our holiday, close to airport and well located. The view from the room was excellent and we saw a glorious sunrise over the distant hills from our personal balcony. The morning breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed it very much. Great experience at this property.
