Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsParking is a mess in Ragusa in general. If you stay for a long time, especially during peak season you might suffer finding a free spot but still worth it for the property where you stay.
It was worth it for everything.

United KingdomWe got a bit lost getting there but that's our fault!
The hotel is wonderful; we loved the beautiful vintage and antique furnishings in our room and in the communal areas. It was very clean, good shower and a really comfortable bed plus a mini balcony to sit out on and we had a perfect breakfast on the veranda overlooking part of the town and the roofs. Breakfast was a mocha pot of divine coffee, tea, orange juice, cheeses, scrambled eggs, olives, watermelon, lovely breads and homemade jams. Definitely recommend this hotel.

CanadaWhat a gem in the heart of Ragusa! B&B Giardino di Pietra truly impressed us with its charm, elegance, and warm hospitality. The classic interiors, beautiful local ceramics, and tasteful decor gave the place an authentic and cozy atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and full of character. The views from the terrace were simply breathtaking — a perfect spot to enjoy a quiet moment or your morning coffee. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and local options to choose from. A special thanks to our host Simone, who was absolutely spectacular — so welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. His care and kindness made our visit even more memorable. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Ragusa — a beautiful and relaxing retreat in a stunning city!

United KingdomAll perfect, nothing bad to report.
Absolutely incredible accomodation. The full house and the room looks like a proper palace, incredible stunning plenty of beautiful decoration and details. It is located in the middle of the Ibla Ragusa, just 5min from everywere. Simone was fantastic, he helped us parking our car and give us plenty of recommendations for restaurants that were amazing. We specially enjoyed Risiu. The breakfast was very good, in the beautiful terrace with views of the old town. We had a very good stay for 2 nights. Ragusa is a place to visit and we could not choose better place to stay. Thanks a lot!!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable with original painted ceilings and tiled floors. The upper terrace had wonderful views which could be enjoyed whilst having breakfast; which beautifully presented, consisted mainly of home produce, with a wonderful selection of food and delicious preserves, all graciously served by Simone.

AustraliaNot one thing could have been better! It was perfect.
Location was perfect even if we had trouble getting there at first with our car, but Simon could not have been more helpful in that regards, he even parked the car for us to save is the trouble. The rooms and the hotel itself were beautifully decorated in authentic vintage and the rooms were grand in size with high ceilings and plenty of space, and very clean. Breakfast was included and offered on the terrace which was home made, very delicious, beautifully presented and very classy with a magnificent view of the town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will have no hesitation in recommending this property. Our experience here is one we will never forget. Thank you to Simon and all who made it so.

AustraliaThere's so much to like about this wonderful apartment starting with Simone who was the perfect host. His breakfast offers a great variety of delicious sweet and savoury options and to enjoy the food and the amazing view from the rooftop terrace was a special way to start the day. The apartment is in a beautiful old building, very spacious and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. Two balconies offer more wonderful views and it's located in the heart of Ragusa Ibla but very quiet. All Simone's restaurant recommendations were good and we just loved our 4 nights in beautiful Ragusa.

United StatesIOtbis a nice bib in a stellar location. The room was lacking in a nice comfortable chair, but the common area was close and the space there was nice. We were lucky in finding parking near by with the help of BnB staff. These hurdles are to be expected in the historic areas. The breakfast was generous wand varied. Staff was pleasant and helpful All in all a great stay

United KingdomA unique B&B in a centuries-old palazzo, whose interiors display extraordinary craftsmanship. Simone is a great host (who offered to sort out a travel issue not long after our arrival and saved us many hours of unnecessary travel time). Beautiful location, gorgeous breakfasts. United StatesThe shower is completely open to the room. The toilets are behind a door, but the shower is right out there. You can lay in the bed and watch your partner shower. This is cool if you're there as a couple, but if you're there with a friend or family member, it could get weird. Also, the outside noise carries inside pretty easily. It wasn't a big deal for us, but if you're trying to sleep in, it may be tough.
The hotel was nice and clean. The suite we had was a very unique room that was the old wine cellar. The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed. We were very impressed. We didn't eat breakfast, so we can't comment on that.
