Walking to Ortigia takes ~30minutes and is not interesting. We walked anyway and didn’t mind it so much. We knew it when booking the hotel.

We stayed 4 nights at the end of June. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us plenty of good advice for restaurants, places to visit and beaches. They even lent us an umbrella and cooler bag for the day. The room was comfortable, simple yet stylish. The balcony had great views over the sea. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruits, cheeses, cereals, bread and a fresh cake every morning. You can access the sea for a swim directly from the hotel which we did every morning . They have water shoes available to use, as the entry in the water is over rocks. The rooftop terrace is also amazing! I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing location with steps down into the sea and magnificent views from the room. Wonderful, generous hosts who made us feel at home. Delicious breakfasts on the balcony above the sea. Giuggiulena is a slice of heaven. We will be back.

Stunning location, with superbly appointed rooms. Breakfast was always excellent and varied. Both Sabrina and Claudia were wonderful hosts and arranged various trips, meals etc. This hotel has excellent ratings and it is obvious why this is so. After two years of lockdown, this was a most cathartic experience. Highly recommended

Very little. If anything it was a little cold at nights but not too uncomfortable once we got the heating going in the room. Also slight walk to Ortigia, which was the main place to hang about.

Our hosts, Sabrina and Claudia, were both amazing people. They went out of their way, not only to make us feel at home, but also to help us out in booking train tickets, recommending good restaurants and in helping retrieve a mobile phone which was left in a taxi. The breakfast was exceptionally good. Fabulous home made bakes of stuffed pastries and cakes. The balcony of our room overlooked the sea and we enjoyed splendid views of sunrise right from our rooms.

Our room was large and beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The view, even from the bed, is stunning! You have access to the sea! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. There are roof top terraces to chill out and have a Aperetivo. For us it was the perfect place to finish our Sicily trip!

I can't highlight nothing negative, maybe the unique point was the power of the air conditioner that wasn't enough because of these hot days.

We decided to repeat the experience in Giuggiulena for a second opportunity because we were really happy to visit this great B&B. The opportunity to enjoy a sea down few steps without a crowded or massive beach, the spirit of service of owners and personnel of B&B are enough to achieve a few days of peace and relaxation. We love Sicilia and maybe you will go to another location more beautiful than Siracusa, but if you enjoy the quiet days in part of your trip, you are searching a really good accommodation with good relation price/benefit, comfortable, paradise environment with sweet and friendly people, you must visit Giuggiulena, it won't let you down.

First we booked just for 5 days. After we entered our room with this unbelievable view to the sea we just felt so relaxed and never wanted to leave again. The room itself was freshly renovated and thoroughly cleaned everyday by Luna, the girl who also served us every morning a lovely homemade breakfast. There was everyday fresh homemade cake that my boyfriend really loved also fresh seasonal fruit, cheese, bread, cereals, excellent coffee, freshley squeezed orange juice, ect. :) And not to forget our big big love goes to Sabrina our hostmum. She was incredible!!! Sabrina was always here to help or gave us tips for daytrips, best restaurants to eat, organised sunbeds for the cliffs infront of Giuggulena, ect.! Sabrina and her lovely sister manage this B&B that you only can fall in love with. After 2 nights we booked 3 more nights because we just felt like home! Thank you very much Sabrina and your team, we already miss you <3<3<3

Quite expensive and that parking should have cost us 40€ (!) when there is free parking in the street in front of the building - In the end they didn‘t charge us as they didn‘t inform us about this high charge before.

The breakfast at the balcony was lovely. Views to the sea from the building, which is directly on the cliff were stunning. Check-in and check-out were uncomplicated. As the sea was a bit rough we couldn’t go for a swim from the hotel directly.

The view is breathtaking. Sabrina was an amazing host, very helpful and nice to talk to. The room decoration is amazing. Small details are taken in consideration. Very cute breakfast with exactly what's needed, and great products.
