Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsPity we were there in the afternoon when the outdoor pool is in the shade.
Wonderful hotel in a fabulous location high in the Brenner valley. The dinner was delicious and the breakfast even more. Nice garden with pool and larger indoor pool. There is also a very good onsite spa with excellent therapists. Nice to have a basket for the pools and robes in your room. Plenty of parking possibilities. All staff is friendly and very hospitable.

BelgiumThe indoor pool area was a little tired as was our bathroom. However everything functioned perfectly well! A couple of the young staff were giggly and need a little more training Eg. In opening and pouring wine, but we were all young once… There is very little not to like!
The hotel gave a very warm welcome, from the friendly pick up at the station to the welcome drink and friendly staff. The hotel was incredibly generous with their large buffet for breakfast, enormous dinner in the evening and a huge buffet ‘snack’ in the afternoon! The service was always polite and friendly. The owners Lukas and Matteus and receptionist Judith, were so patient answering many of our questions, making suggestions for our walking routes, planning our onward travel etc. The walking is fabulous. Excellent freely available maps with all the different numbered routes marked. A guest card allowing free travel on the hourly bus service meant lots of opportunities to begin walks at different points. The views from our balcony, from the terrace and all around are beautiful. The flowers and hotel garden were lovely. We had a wonderful week!

FranceThe whole spa experience was ruined for the whole duration of the stay by families who had kids running around and screaming. We are fine with children running around and having fun in the garden and outdoor pool of course, but they absolutely have to be well behaved in areas such as the spa, which is meant for relaxation. Here it was from the relaxing, peaceful and silent experience that's advertised on the hotel site. I would suggest making the spa / interior pool area child free, (especially when there is already an outdoor pool outside!) or much more supervised: perhaps the staff should come here more often to check on the noise, the room echoes a lot so with children in it, the whole spa becomes unusable. It really was a downturn for us as it's one of the reasons we picked this hotel in the first place. Also, there was no kettle/tea/coffee in the rooms and we found that a bit lacking compared to similar hotels we've stayed at. No AC either, which is an issue when temperatures go up but on our stay it wasn't much of an issue, just something to be aware of.
Overall amazing stay, we were in one of the recently renovated rooms and it was really confortable, clean. Breakfast had many options for all tastes and dinner was also good and creative, especially for the price. Location is amazing for visiting the Dolomites, and the view is breathtaking! We particularly enjoyed the outdoors spaces and how beautiful the garden is, with all those flowers everywhere. The staff is very friendly and welcoming as well

AustraliaIt was a heatwave and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. We gather this was very very unusual for the area but it did make sleeping difficult. A separate light bed sheet would be useful.
Beautiful location, friendly staff, lovely food generously supplied. Gorgeous garden, family atmosphere/friendly. Parking available. Quaint village.

MexicoI booked 2 rooms, one of them was really warm but the personal gave us right away a ventilator.
Location of the hotel was great. The cleanness of the rooms was very good. The hotel has a lot of small details that makes you feel welcomed, even when I checked out, I was given a box of Tee bags, nice detail.

SwedenThe bed was way too hard for me. I had a hard time getting some sleep. The personnel in the restaurant missed to take our drink order.
Bigger spa than I expected. The man in the reception was really great, he alone earned an extra star for the hotel! :) (I'm sorry I never cought his name). It was a large enough room and balcony. And a terrific view!

Germanywith a given "10" rating, there is nothing really to dislike. Just as food for thought for future investments at the hotel: The area of the outdoors sauna lags a little bit behind the rest of the hotel in terms of atmosphere and "Substanz", maybe it can be refurbished in the near future.
It's hard to rate this hotel anything else than a 10. We had a huge spacious suite "dolomiten suite" with great views. The roomkeeping was doing such impressive work that the room looked like new every single day. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the sauna and the abundance of food. The Klausencard with free bus riding and free cable car to Rittnerhorn was a nice extra. We would definitely return.

Greece- Curtains in the room where not blackout (not even close to that) - unless we missed some layer/mechanism - and there was sun in the room very early on (we stayed there in August). Other than that, the place was perfect.
- Very nice location/view and free parking - Very friendly and helpful stuff - Modern/renovated bathroom and comfortable bed in quiet, spacious room - Excellent breakfast - Great value for money

GermanyThe only thing that stops me from spending more time there is that the hotel prices in the whole region are a little pricey. It is not that this hotel is more expensive than the rest, it is just that the whole destination is a little bit pricey.
I absolutely loved it. This would be my preferred location for stay in the area and I would love to come back. The view from the room was superb. All hotel areas like the terrace or the pool areas were really nice to spend time at. The parking area was also very comfortable. The staff was very friendly are caring all the time. We also got passes for some cable car rides and pools in the area which was also a nice little cherry. I also liked the hiking in the area more than hiking in Meran. The LTE signal in the hotel was good enough. In another hotel in the Meran area I had no signal in the room.
