Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Mario is a great host and he helped with recommendations about what to visit and what to try. The place is very close to the historic center.

Accommodation in a very good location, quiet, close to the main train station. The room was spacious and clean, with daily cleaning. The italian breakfasts were very good, sufficient with great coffee. The host was very nice, helpful and advised on everything. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

This is a gem of a b&b in the heart of hustle and bustle of Naples historical centre. Antonio , his brother and his son Giovanni made us feel v comfortable. We had everything we needed

A bagatell we solved ourselves, but a second, or third, chair at the room would be smart. We stayed in the room called Tyche.
The breakfast was, as described at booking.com, typical Italian. We extra appreciated the additional offer of real musli and yourhurt in different tastes. People that isn't satisfied with this breakfast, don't know Italian breakfast. By the way, excellent coffee! The moral is: Learn to like what you get when you are away from your home country.

Our room was very comfortable and I enjoyed the view over the street - however, if you are a very light sleeper, you may be awakened by an early church bell or trucks emptying waste bins nearby. I am not sure if all the rooms overlook the street - you can always check to be sure.
This was a great find - the location is excellent, convenient to the historic center and various forms of transportation, but also reasonably quiet most of the time. A small hotel with a very personal experience - the staff were not only professional but gave excellent advice and assistance in every way that we asked. I was in touch with them a few times in advance - they are responsive, thoughtful, and really made me feel like they cared about us as both as hotel guests and as people. I would definitely recommend Hermes to anyone.

The hotel is very close to the centre, a 10 minute walk. The rooms were very clean and smelled great as soon as you walked in. We stayed in the room for 3 nights with 5 people, which was surprisingly spacious, and the balcony was definitely a plus. The bathroom was big with a hot tub and a power shower, which was great! The staff are super helpful, especially Mario, who would make our coffees and breakfast every morning. Thank you, Mario! I was surprised to see how high people have rated this property, but after my stay, I fully understand why. I would definitely stay here again if I ever ho back to Naples.

For four nights the cleaning lady didn't changed any towel even if it is written on their inside rules to be changed after every three nights. But I am sure they will improve this for the future.🙂
Very friendly and helpful hosts, they really try to give you advice for everything you want from place to eat to transfers to airport. Very good location. Clean and tidy room. Breakfast and the coffee was great also. Thank you very much .

It was very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect since you could reach the place by car and yet be able to get to the older parts of town by foot and transportation. It was also very quiet. Everything works very well, shower, fridge.

The location is perfect if you want to be close to center but still in a quite area. The room was ok, only the bed felt small and very hard matrace. The breakfast was typical italian (sweet) and plenty.

Everything about this stay was exceptional. The room was spotless, stylish, and super comfortable. The location made it easy to explore Naples, and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From the little details to the warm welcome, it felt more like a boutique experience than a tourist room. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! António was extremely friendly, helpful, and very professional. I needed to check in early due to work, and the hotel went above and beyond by allowing me to check in at 9 am. On top of that, Antonio offered us breakfast for the first day, even though it wasn’t included. He also provided excellent tips and assistance to help us explore the city, making our trip so much easier and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for exceptional service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere The property was also in a fantastic location, just a 12-minute walk from the nearest metro station, 12 minutes to the historical center, and about 35 minutes to Municipio station, where the castle is located. The place itself was perfect, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were warm and cozy, which was a huge plus since we visited Naples during very cold days. It truly made our stay pleasant and hassle-free. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Naples!

Antonio was a wonderful host with lots of information including all of Naples’ specialties. He made me feel welcome from the minute I arrived. The room was wonderful, and it is in a good location.

No complaints.
Breakfast was included and was OK. We arrived after 9pm and someone was there to greet us. He also recommended a lovely restaurant nearby. It was easy to walk into centre of Naples and the neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe.
