Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaBe aware it is about 15 minutes car ride from the airport (so not exactly nearby), and they charge 10 euros for the airport schedule in the morning.
For my American fellow travelers, this is NOT your typical crappy Quality Inn we are used to in the U.S. This is a much more elevated quality and experience that is easily comparable to higher end hotels. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, and the vibe at the hotel was very nice. And most importantly, the staff and the quality of services were superb. When I had to change the hotel shuttle schedule due to travel plan changes, they offered to pay for a taxi from the airport that got me to the property 3 hours before the previously scheduled shuttle (worth 31 euro). This gave me plenty of time to refresh at the room and eat dinner at their amazing property restaurant, where the food and service were equivalent of what you get at a gourmet restaurant. It's just smart business practice, since I ended up spending much more $$ on property for dinner and left the place a very satisfied customer. I will be coming back when my travels take me via Rome.

FranceThe food at the restaurant was not fantastic ... nor was the breakfast. It was the only let down of the stay.
Facilities and rooms are good. Staff is friendly, and the hotel is well priced close to the airport.

I had a pleasant stay overall - the room was spacious and tidy. However, there was an issue with the AC not functioning properly, which made the room a bit uncomfortable at times. Hopefully, this can be addressed for future guests

United KingdomWhen my son got sick and was vomiting perhaps had food poison and we called or I said to the receptionist to call emergency service but it takes 2 hours by the time the ambulance to turned up. And they don't even know how to speak English. Am just glad that my son didn't got worse.
First the breakfast was excellent especially the coffee is beautifully tasty. The bed was ok but some bed I think needs changing due to getting deep in as it's old or been weary. The bed sheet are very clean the duvet was brand new so was very comfy. Travelling is easy to get a taxi but only when is quite busy you can't find any, but it was ok when we used an app like Uber. Staff I think they need to speak fluent English because sometimes they don't understand what we're looking or what we want. All in all was fine.

AustraliaThe staff were excellent. The restaurant was great. One thing that I didn’t like about their policy of giving water bottles only on arrival as a compliment is not a good policy. If you have the star rating then provide water bottles every day when people are staying for as a mandatory item. When I pushed them they provided few days.
This property is very good to stay if you are looking for comfort. If you are travelling from other countries to visit Rome then you need to be fit to walk about 900 Metres to the station to catch public transport which amazing. If you on a short schedule then you need to find something close to Rome.

AustraliaNote that this hotel is close to the airport, but far from the centre of Rome. On one day we took trains all the way to the Colosseum, and it took ~90 minutes. Muratella train station is only a 10 minute walk away, though. The breakfast was fine, but I want to point out a couple of things. There were not a lot of vegan options. I was pleasantly surprised that they had vegan butter, thereby I could have decent toast. But other than that, I'm not sure I got my €18's worth. I did order soy cappuccinos, which were decent. Lastly, the Saturday morning around 9am was extremely busy. I could barely find a table, and the staff could not keep up with clearing plates and putting new cutlery down. So, be aware of that. Staff were also too busy to take my cappuccino order. The other days I went around 7-7:30am, and that was nice and quiet.
The hotel staff speak decent English and gave me very helpful answers to all my questions. They sold me train tickets for €1.50 each. This makes your life so much easier as a rookie tourist wanting to take public transport. The hotel also offers daily shuttles to the city centre, but you have to book at least a day in advance. The room was comfortable and they provide a variety of pillows (different degrees of softness) to chose from.
