Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hallway is leading up to your room are very old and dated. It’s a little deceiving because the rooms are pretty decent. I think a refresh in the hallways would improve the overall appearance.

Carpets in the corridor are outdated.
Hotel is at perfect location. Cosy and clean room, quiet. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. It is my 2nd stay here and will come here again

It is very close to Milano Central station. We were surprised when we entered our room, it is very clean, has bathrob, washroom were clean and the complimentary cold drinks in the small fridge were awesome. I love the big mirror walls in the room. My daughter loves it very much and wish we stayed longer. Staff were very helpful. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

I was in Milan overnight between train trips. So I stayed in a single, twin bed room and did not expect much as the rate was good. Much to my surprise, it was the nicest room of this type/size I have ever stayed in. The room was very clean, the bathroom was beautiful, and it was 5 minutes from the train station. I would definitely stay again, even if it was for multiple nights. Highly recommend!

I would have appreciated having shampoo instead of two bottles of shower gel. The Wi-Fi connection could be improved — it felt like it only started working properly on the last day of my stay. So far it is a good quality-price match!
I didn’t use the breakfast service, so I can’t comment on it. My room was fine — everything matched expectations and the quality was at a decent level. The staff were friendly and respectful, which made the stay pleasant. The location is easily reachable and situated in a quiet neighborhood, which I appreciated. Overall, a comfortable and calm place to stay.

The breakfast was amazing. The room was not big but there was plenty of storage in the room which is unusual in Europe. The location was great right near the train station.

Everything was wonderful especially the breakfast spread included in our rate!
Within walking distance of the central train station! We stayed in the annex, which was a classic old fashion (regal) hotel with elevator.

The shower was over the bath which was quite deep making it difficult for 2 older women. This problem was exacerbated by the lack of handrails. We managed but felt quite unstable at times.
The location was perfect for our needs. The staff were welcoming, helpful and pleasant. After we made the booking the hotel kept us informed of how our requirements would be met and of any changes eg increase in city tax. This was much appreciated.

Great location near station and also close to nice restaurants and cafes. Our room was older style on the ground floor and very spacious. Breakfast was pleasant.

Fan in the room was extremely dusty other wise room was very clean
Location is very close to tram, bus station and metro. Easy access to transfer from airport. Close to shopping streets and options for food. Hotel is clean and staff is very friendly

It was located on two separate buildings my family was at the main building and I was across street
It was very close and accessible to metro,bus and dining facilities and the staffs was very accommodating I would most definitely recommend this hotel
