We spent few days at the Rivoli Hotel with a group of friends as we were running the Florence Marathon. The hotel is very nice and the staff friendly and helpful. Location is amazing, very central, near main sights and close to the river. Walking to to the starting line was just perfect. Breakfast was also excellent with a great variety buffet.

The smell from the sewers or drains, although this seemed to be a problem across most of the city.

This maybe just the layout of our room, the toilet is a little bit small and might a little stuffy for a bigger person.

- The staff is excellent 10/10. Very polite and kind. Especially Giulia at the front desk, who are extremely patience and very helpful with our issue on parking ticket. It was our personal parking issue and not related to the hotel at all but is really do listen and really do try to help. Amazing service! - The breakfast is great and breakfast staff are extremelt delightful and very attentive - The hotel location is superb! Extrmely near the train station and consider very close to piazza and the Duomo. - The hotel decoration is lovely, and swimming pool in also very welcome! - the room is clean and well decorated.

the bedroom was small and up a flight of stairs. Also the fact that you have to pay extra to use te he spa which was ve wry simple.

Outdated, a bit too expensive for the format of the hotel. the electric plugs were quite difficult to use and the wifi was unstable.

We really liked the location, it was close to Santa Maria Novella station and a pleasant walk to the ponte vecchio and the sights. the property was quite beautiful and the inner courtyard was nice to enjoy a drink at.

chose this place because it had a pool- pool is absolutely tiny and barely any space around it. suppose should have expected this in central Florence

The view from our room 127 was basically non existent - just a wall 2m away. So no daylight or sun.

Noise of the street and next door rooms is loud. You can hear the bathrooms next door.

The hotel presented an American breakfast, but it was not great.

The hotel was well located, our room was very clean and comfortable with a balcony. There were sufficient outlets to charge all of our electronics, phones and kindles. The hotel staff were excellent and helpful.

The size of the room is rather small and the bathroom is very tiny. We couldn’t move around. This is really a very negative point.

Excellent location and a great historical sites around. The hotel building dated 15th century and has been renovated. The hotel restauras for breakfast and dinner was great as well. Employees very helpful

Rooms are expensive but due to central location.

Nice staff on reception especially when they weren't wearing masks. Nice courtyard with plunge pool which gives a welcome respite from the city.

Unfortunately you at still have to book a pool time slot due to covid…. (yawn) otherwise no complaints from me.

The property is really well located for both the train station and the centre of Florence attractions. The hotel is clean and the rooms are a large size. We travelled with a 3 month old baby and the hotel made all the arrangements with the cot for our arrival. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff. The pool area was nicely enclosed from the sun when it was so hot and so a nice place to relax in the shade. The breakfast was also well presented and a wide selection.
