This place is an absolute little gem! The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful, the pools and jacuzzi are excellent and the breakfast, including the amazing outdoor terrace you have it on, are superb. The food and wine at the restaurant are also amazing! Bonus points for all the lovely kitties leisurely walking around the grounds

We felt quite ignored. Several times we requested food and drinks only to be over looked. Staff could do with some training

The location and quality of the hotel was second to none. Couldn’t fault it in anyway. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped with great bathrooms and balcony views. Plenty of parking on site but be prepared to do a bit of walking between the rooms and the other parts of the hotel. Only really accessible with a hire car due to its remote location which was fine by us.

Bit remote and also quite some distance between parts of the property, one day of bad weather ment being locked up in our room. Sometimes it felt as if they had too short staff for the restaurant and breakfast.

The most beautiful view you can wish for. Restaurant is great! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Good breakfast.

Everything was great, only difficulty was the narrow road to the resort, but that’s how you get the wonderful views!!

The views were incredible!! The resort was immaculately clean! The staff went out of their way to provide whatever was needed. The food, breakfast and dinner were delicious and the service was fantastic!!

Altarocca is quite close to Orvietto. The hotel has beautiful garden, nice swimming pools and excellent food. The room is spacious and the air conditioner functions perfectly (absolutely a plus in Italian summer).

I think customer service is lacking at this property. Both in the restaurant and around the pool. The staff in the breakfast area were friendly and looked after us very well. Maybe even look into a shuttle service that runs back and forth to the old city ( time schedule ) for a small fee

THE BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS BUT THE MOST SPECTACULAR PART ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS THE LOCATION. THE VIEWS ARE STUNNING AND THE ROOM WAS ENORMOUS AND VERY COMFORTABLE WITH A HUGE BALCONY OVERLOOKING THE VINEYARDS

I rented a car and found the road a little challenging, but the reward at the destination was well worth it.

The view was excellent form the restaurant and the bar . The food was excellent at the restaurant. We took a walk around the grounds and found it very pleasant with a great view of the vineyard and the valley.

The breakfast items were not as plentiful as the other places in Italy that we stayed in. Many of the savory items were gone when we arrived for breakfast and we did not see the staff replenish them. The scrambled eggs we ordered did not meet our expectations as they were over scrambled and dry.

The property has stunning views overlooking Orvieto and beautiful vineyards. Rooms and bathrooms were large.
