Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyOur room was fine, but it could have been better if our bathroom was a little more cleaner. I think it was a bathroom designed for disabled people and the toilet was a little high. We stayed only 1 night so we did not want to change just because of this.
Hello, it was a pleasure staying with Hotel Latinum, Great location, near tram and bus station to public areas, also walkable distance for Metro line and Colleseo. And Reception Staff Mr Fabio was great about everything, He was extremely hospitable with his kind, caring and helpful behavior towards us. He explained in detail where and how we could reach and guided us in the right direction. We stayed as two family with 1 year old kid. The breakfast was diverse and delicious beyond our expectations.

Small hotel with nice rooms. Good location for tram transport as mutiple trams stop opposite making getting around easy. Some lovely restaurants within 5-10min walking distance.

CroatiaThe staff was pleasant and helpful at all times, the room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was a nice plus. The hotel is situated at the lovely historic Porta Maggiore square that is situated a short 10 min. walk from the metro line A that takes you directly to the Vatican city and the city centre (Spanish square, piazza Barberini, piazza del Popolo). Also, there is a bus line that takes you directly to the Colosseum that is basically in front of the hotel.

BulgariaLike all hotels around Termini station, it can be noisier because of the transport. This is the downside of a good location.
We were most pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service from the entire hotel staff. Extremely friendly, responsive and with perfect English - one wouldn't have a problem asking for a location, recommendations for a nearby restaurant or a place you want to visit. The hotel was conveniently located from Termini station - accessible by public transport or a 15-20 minute walk. Also very near to some historical sites, like Basilica di St. Maria Maggiore, the Colosseum and others. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a lovely balcony on the top floor where it is nice to go out. The breakfast is of very good quality. I definitely recommend Hotel Latinum!

United KingdomNowhere to sit and have a drink in the evening, or no facilities on the rooftop terrace.
Close walking distance to metro, bus stop and also able to walk to Colosseum. Marco the receptionist was extremely helpful with information. Breakfast was basic continental but enough to fill you until lunch out and about. Powerful hot showers although very small. Glass floor in reception is pretty cool.

GreeceThe breakfast needs improvement. And the area is really noisy.
The center and Roma termini were only a few minutes away with the tram or the bus. Also, the subway station was 10 minutes away. The room was good and it had everything you needed. It was really warm, too.

United States of AmericaThe mini bar isn’t included and there was someone else’s hair on the floor in the bathroom. i travel with slippers so no worries. also there are no wash rags/towels given in this area so bring a travel pouf.
The staff was very friendly, it’s one of those establishments that’s goes the extra mile to greet you by name. English is my first language and I have only been here study Italian for two weeks they were so patient with me. I ate complimentary breakfast everyday during my stay it’s Euro style continental so don’t expect a waffle maker lol It’s still a solid meal. They offer other meal and bar amenities but I was gone sight seeing and didn’t use them. everything seemed to be 15 minutes away either by foot or cab. Familiarize yourself with local scooter companies and escort yourself wherever you want to go! 17 min walk from Roma Termini and around the same to the colloseum!
