the room was not what i expected through the photos i had seen, they seem much more spacious and well decorated, much more aesthetic. It wasn t bad, but if i have to be honest i was disapointed a little. And yes i know the variety of the rooms depend on the price, but if you are going to have different type of rooms you have to show what is what so i could have picked maybe

Clean, modern and bright rooms. The staff were friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. There was a great choice of continental breakfast, freshly baked pastries, cereal, fresh fruit and it was the best coffee we had in Italy. The location was perfect, 5-10 minute walk from the train station and 2 minute walk to the main square in Verona. Highly recommend staying here. Hopefully we will return to Hotel Marco Polo in future!

We were not in the hotel but in an annexe down the road. Plastic card access was not the easiest system as it was temperamental. Rooms could do with tea or coffee facilities. Basic.

There were no basic facilities such as an iron, kettle or comfy pillows. You can hear other rooms through ceiling and walls. Evening staff seemed very flustered when you ask them a question. Extractor fan in room wouldn’t turn off Mini fridge was warm

Just off the Main Street, so quiet but perfectly placed to explore this city. We were located in the annex in the upper floor, so I asked for a wooden ceiling, and got it, beautiful, room 13. A lift makes it easy.

We stayed for one night, and I chose this hotel due to its close location to Piazza Bra, as we were going to Arena di Verona for the opera, which was supposed to finish late at night. The hotel is located in a historic building in a quiet street, next to the old city center and all these beautiful sights, including Arena, Castelvecchio, Arca Gavi, and Porta Borsari. Just 15 min walk from Porta Nova railway station, many nice restaurants nearby, as well as Eurospar supermarket. The personnel was very friendly, speaking several European languages. The room was clean and spacious, with free wifi, and the breakfast was pretty good, too.

Gentle staff, great location just a few minutes walk from historical center, the size of the room was very good, the shower was great and the towels really soft. The breakfast was rich and delicious. One of the best hotels we've ever been.

We checked in early to be given a key of a room that was not yet cleaned. When I went back to let reception know they informed us we had checked in early and room would be ready soon. The room was clearly rushed cleaned and you could see a lot of the cleaning had been skipped. Beds would not be the comfiest.

Super comfortable room in a great location to explore Verona. We loved that it was not in the most touristic area and yet a short walk away from the main attractions. We had tickets to the opera at the Arena, which is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Breakfast was not included but really excellent and very reasonably priced.

I honestly don’t think there was anything I didn’t like. Perhaps one should know that the hotel has two locations for the rooms. There is the main hotel with reception and the dining room while the other location is a stone’s throw away on the same street.

The hotel is a clean and modern establishment.  The hotel is located on a quiet side street within walking distance of good restaurants, the arena and the historic and shopping district.  The gentleman at the reception recommended a very good restaurant for dinner before the opera.  Following the opera, we comfortably walked back to the hotel after midnight. I would stay there again and recommend to others.

Perfect location, easy to get there by car. Convenient parking at the venue. In the heart of the city, easily walking to everywhere. Professional and Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Abundant breakfast. Everything was more than excellent. We had a pleasant stay for 2 nights and we highly recommend this hotel.

The air conditioning was not sufficient to cool the rooms. The hotel staff moved us from one room to another, but both rooms had air conditioners that did not cool. It was better to have an open window allowing in warm air that was cooler than the room using air conditioning. The air conditioning was good in the breakfast area for the first two mornings, but was not working on the third morning of our stay. There are two doors to the hotel on opposite sides of the street, and the main entrance did not correspond to the hotel location on Google maps.

The breakfast and breakfast staff were very good. The people at the front desk attempted to assist us with our stay and, for the most they did assist, although they could not overcome the poor Air Conditioning.
