Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Brilliant location and beautiful, comfortable room - very lucky to be given an upgrade by the kind manager on reception. Stunning suite and balcony! Loads of great relaxed restaurants and bars near by, sights in easy walking distance. Felt very safe. All staff were kind and helpful, breakfast next door was terrific value

United KingdomThe bed was a little hard and shower door didn't close properly so the bathroom floor got wet.
Reception staff really friendly. We had a upgraded on our room which was amazing, the huge terrace that had a beautiful view of Rome. Location of this hotel is amazing, short walks to all tourist sight seeing.

AustraliaWi-fi got slow several times during the stay… TV could be improved to allow guests to connect to more apps. The English channels were very limited, mostly news…
The suite was spacious and clean. Breakfast next door was good with decent selection of Italian and American breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating.

United States of AmericaThe shower is poorly built. Water always spills onto the floor because there is not a screen in the way to block water from splashing out. Very annoying. Also, I don't like that I have to go to the front desk to turn the AC off or on
Good sized rooms that are clean

United States of AmericaEntrance is a little difficult to find, maps takes you to wrong side of building. Also shower floods entire bathroom so just be prepared to put some extra towels down, the water pressure is amazing, and it was one of the biggest showers I had while traveling through Italy.
Great location!!! Updated and clean, great water pressure!

United KingdomWi-fi was not working at all in our room and we found out other guests on our floor complained of the same issues. It was annoying as the reception said they would fix it but nothing was done. It was a problem as when we needed booking for restaurants or some attractions nothing worked. Not even at the reception Wi-fi was great. At this day and age, that was a major disappointment!
Location was great, size of the room, cleanliness, comfortable bed, air conditioning, good breakfast for a reasonable price,

I stayed at Navona Palace Luxury Inn for 3 nights. It is a return to the hotel for me because of its central position and its character. A short walk to all of the sights of Rome and surrounded by lovely restaurants and bars. My suite was amazing with views of the St Peter’s Basilica & Castel Sant’ Angelo from the balcony and a jacuzzi. It is a very friendly hotel, the staff are lovely and it is beautifully decorated. I would definitely recommend

United KingdomI can't fault the hotel really. It's nothing much to look at from the outside, but it's fine inside. It's perhaps a little pricey, although I didn't do much comparison, and probably for its great location it's about right. The place for breakfast is looking a little tired.
We had an excellent room - well two rooms, one a bedroom, the other with a bed settee and small table and chairs. Additionally, we had a roof terrace with jacuzzi. Breakfast was just in the next building along, and at €8.50 was good value. Superb location, 25mins walk to the Vatican, 30 mins to the Colosseum, 5 mins to the Pantheon. Loads of restaurants, all good value. Helpful and friendly staff.

United States of AmericaLimited parking. We had to park on street on a hill.
The hotel is on a cliff looking down at Sorrento (although technically it’s a couple 100 yards outside Sorrento. We were on the 4th floor where there is a patio that you can access from your room. The views were awesome between the mountains and the ocean. Breakfast was very nice and the staff went out of the way to make us comfortable. We were there 2 nights and the barista knew what coffee we liked. Also there was a free shuttle to Sorrento. We walked it too and it was no problem.

United States of AmericaWe traveled to Rome from the US. I had many questions and the staff answered them all quickly and set up car service for us to and from the airport - so nice! We had a beautiful two room suite and the hotel itself is right in the center of everything. I would absolutely return here.

IrelandNothing to dislike with the hotel. Street vendors in Rome can be a little much, particularly for families with young children
The suite was amazing. It had everything we required. It was beautifully maintained and very clean. Very comfortable beds and a wonderful terrace for our room. The housekeeping staff were friendly and professional. The reception staff were extremely kind and helpful also with useful information. The hotel itself is in an excellent area, with a huge variety of restaurants, gelaterria and shopping nearby. Walking distance to the Piazza Navona, Vatican City, Colosseum, Trevi fountain and many more sights. It is convenient to walk to so many of the landmarks in Rome that a taxi was never required....just as well, as that was the only issue we had when we required one on departure. That, however, is a Rome issue, and nothing to do with the hotel. We will definitely return for our next visit in Rome....I wouldn't dream of booking anywhere else.

United States of AmericaOur only complaint was the bed. It wasn't super comfy, it felt more like a futon. It wasn't like we couldn't sleep in it, it just wasn't the best. That being said, we still had a great stay.
Staff was very friendly & location was excellent. Despite being in a busy/noisy area, the room was very quiet. There were lots of great restaurants within walking distance, some shopping, and easy to walk to tourist attractions (colosseum, Vatican, etc). Piazza Navona is right around the corner from the hotel which is nice to walk to and have dinner at at the end of the day.

AustraliaThe only thing I would recommend is maybe some espresso cups with the coffee machine, but that's if I really pin pointed.
Location was about a one minute walk from Piazza Navona. It was very convenient. We were given a room on the top level with a beautiful balcony. Beautiful views from all windows. We also arrived quite late from the airport, so when we arrived, we were met out the front of the hotel and they took our luggage and brought it up for us. We really appreciated that.
