Gym and spa shared room so we could not work out. Location was a tad on the inconvenient side and we got lost walking back from town because of distance and winding streets. Pool was unheated. Most everything else was terriffic.

Staff was terrific, beautiful cozy property. Breakfast was solid, dinner good. Pool beautiful but unheated. Location could have been better, but acceptable. The Anacapri area and town are a must see. The Roman ruins were right around the corner and wonderful site.

Amazing views from the balcony room which offered a bit of privacy which was nice. The pool are look lavish and serene. The staff was very accommodating as they were able to pick our bags up at the main port and even drove us almost all the way to marina piccola so we could catch our boat tour! Also it's in a quieter, non-trafficked part of the Island which made it feel less touristy.

Wonderful location away from all the crowds - but still close enough to walk to Anacapri center. Great ocean view. We loved the pool! Staff are so friendly. The shuttle is a real plus - thanks Luigi👍

Absolutely stunning location. The photos do not do it justice, we arrived and had to pinch ourselves as it seemed unbelievable. The staff at Orsa Maggiore went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable, booking us a scooter (highly recommended) and offering to help and accommodate all needs during our stay. The food was some of the best Italian we’d eaten on our trip across the country. Sitting by the pool eating their amazing cuisine and enjoying the company of the amazing staff was the absolute best. Very sad to leave.

Breakfast was good but nothing very special and not much variety.

Location was nice, a bit far away from the hazzle to create nice relaxed athmosphere but still very close to anacapri town, only 15 minutes walk to reach many very good restaurants and sights. The staff was relaxed and always happy to help. The private boat tour they arranged was amazing experience that I would highly recommend.

In the room they provided a kettle with sachets of decaf instant coffee. Previous hotels of similar price have all had espresso machines.

Superb sunset view, enormous terrace, clean and tidy room, friendly staff, nice pool, pleasant breakfast with nice coffee, overall lovely hotel that we would recommend to couples.

Absolutely nothing!

The staff were so accommodating/ welcoming. The whole stay was seamless and perfect in every way. I dropped the hotel staff a message with our arrival details and they had their shuttle waiting for us to take us back to the hotel. We were then greeted with a complimentary cocktail and snacks which was such a nice touch after a long journey. During our stay, the hotel staff also organised a boat trip that was again seamless. The hotel is gorgeous, clean and somewhere we were very sad to leave. Everything was perfect - highly highly recommend!!!

The only downfall I would say is the location is not as central as I would have liked. Its about a 15 minute walk from Anacapri town and around 15 minutes or so by taxi to Capri town (around 30 Euro). Taking a bus is also an option, although we didn't try to. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. As I mentioned also, if the hotel driver is free you can always catch a ride with him. Another thing that could be improved is the wifi signal inside the rooms. The signal in my room was a little weak, I had to sit in the lobby to get optimal signal for a video call.

Orsa Maggiore is probably the best boutique hotel I've stayed at! The service is impeccable, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is perfect. It just feels like they've thought of every little detail. The hotel facilities are great, the pool is very nice and the restaurant is very good. They offer a shuttle service for ferry pick up and drop offs, but if the driver is free they don't mind doing drop offs to Anacapri and Capri town - which is great. The room is also quite spacious, especially for European standards. Overall highly recommended!
