Rooms quite basic, no tea and coffee, shower door doesn’t lock. Stranger came into our room whilst we were having breakfast.

There was no hand soap in the bathroom. Thankfully I packed body wash and kept that by the sink.

The location was amazing. I could see the cathedral from my bedroom. The bedrooms were very spacious. The bathroom was quite large. Overall, the price for the size of the space we stayed in, was quite good.

The pillows were very hard and I woke up with a sore neck in the morning. The rooms are not soundproof - we could hear everything going on outside our room. There is not a fixed wall safe inside the room. The staff offered to carry one up for us, but we declined.

Excellent location in the heart of the city of Florence and within walking distance to bus stops, train station and major attractions. Very spacious room, secure, clean and had a lovely view from the window. There was a hairdryer in each bathroom, fresh towels and linen when we arrived, the kitchen was equipped and also had a dishwasher with dishwasher tablets. The shower was lovely!! The staff were friendly and attentive.

The manager? Behind the desk was very abrupt and rude upon check in. She did not provide any information regarding the facilities or check out process. Signs stated the office to be opened at 8:30am to check out, however the desk was still unmanned at 9:30am. The manager walked into the lobby and walked out again without acknowledging the guests waiting. Written instructions advised the aircon could not be adjusted. The soap was terrible. There were no coffee/tea/sugar supplies despite a kettle and coffee machine being provided.

No clean towels were supplied or exchanged during our stay, except for what were originally supplied, laundry was filthy, walls in our room were stained from blood filled squashed mosquitos

We were close to all major attractions. There was a lift so it made staying on the second floor easy. We were a group of 6 and it’s fine but the space would be more comfortable with 4 or less. Breakfast was included in the cafe next door which was a nice bonus. Check in/out east and staff very helpful in organising transfer to train. Make sure to bring your personal insect spray. Mozzies have been an issue all throughout our stay in Tuscany at this time of year.

As it was unstaffed when departing on a Sunday there were no instructions at all for check out, no key drop box and nothing was covered at check in re this, staffed from 10am only with a max check out by 10.30! We needed to leave by 8am!

I know we were in beautiful Italy and expected to language but it would been nice to have just a couple of English channels. I know we were not there to watch television but just before going to bed it would have been nice to watch a little television. Oh well, it was an opportunity to learn another language even just a few words. Oh, please try to update, clean up or make the lobby more appealing, as they say….first impressions go a long way.

The amount of space was adequate for my family of four. The rooftop terrace was a great bonus where we could have family meals and drinks or just hang out. There was also a clothes rack there for hanging out your clothes to dry. The kitchen space was also very useful with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and everything you needed. The laundry on the second floor was also a huge bonus, we used it and saved a lot of time for when we returned home not having to do a lot of laundry.

Great air-conditioning unit, washing/laundry facilities free to use. You just need your own detergent. Very conveniently located, worth what you're getting! Staff were very friendly. If you're the type of traveller that is happy with the basics, this is the place for you!

- Only one plug by the door for our adapter. - No toiletries - Quite tricky to find, sign wasn’t clear. - Aircon was weak. Struggled with the heat being 38 degrees when we visited.

Good location. Parking was difficult if you have mpv 9 seater. Was clean. Lift was not able to take more tjen 200kg when we were there. And breakfast was limited but alright.

The was a great central accomodation, easy to walk to places of interest. The rooms were comfortable although our suite only had thin, almost transparent walls to the bedrooms so if privacy is a must some suites arent for you. There are plenty of other rooms available though so just enquire when booking. Breakfast was included and was supplied at a restaurant right next door. We also ate at this restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious. Parking was available at a cost and was well worth paying for. It is right at the accommodation so handy for getting luggage sorted, you just have to book.
