Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe location isn't ideal with a good 20 minute walk to the metro and the area isn't especially nice with lot of litter, dumped furniture etc ... it's outside the hotel grounds but I'm sure the hotel could do something to clean up the surrounding area. The air conditioning didn't work but not a problem for us as it wasn't too warm in April. Some walls in the bedroom were dirty with various stains. The breakfast is mainly sweet items and could perhaps benefit from some fruit but it is ample with a decent selection. The cleaning staff seem stretched and things get forgotten like soap in the bathrooms. It would be nice to have a small table/chairs on the balcony and/or to have some of the roof area made into a sun bathing space with loungers. Finally there was building work going on adjacent to our room with noise starting from 7am every week day morning and this also made having the balcony door open difficult because of dust. Mention could/should have been made when booking
Offers good value for money. The hotel is decent and our room was large with everything we needed, clean comfortable bed, fridge, well equipped bathroom with plenty of hot water. The price was good for a week in Rome. Staff were friendly from reception, breakfast staff and cleaners. We were also allowed an early check in for free which was appreciated

LithuaniaAs I’m the person who like to eat proper breakfast, the food options weren’t so good. There were lots of sweets ( pastries, pies) and the omelette and sausages looked unappetising.
It was good experience. We stayed in the hotel for 1 night. First of all, the hotel offered us the transfer from Fiumicino airport for 5 people for 90 EUR. We arrived at the airport late (at 22:40). It was fast and great with the transfer. The staff was so helpful and kind. The room and bathroom were great. Also we could leave our luggages the next day for free and have a walk in the city.

United KingdomBathroom was broken. Sink overflew with spillage of water, couldn’t use it first day. One of staff at reception was rude when told about blocked wash basin and to change the room. Booking.com had to intervene.
Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was average but restaurant staff was nice.

Czech RepublicWould have been nice to have more breakfast options. A lot of the time things were missing, the coffee machine wasn't working properly and when you came for breakfast around eight am, you had fewer options to pick from. The shower was very small so it was a bit hard to move around. If you plan on staying longer, bring your own toiletries, shower gel and shampoo are provided in a small plastic bag. Also, the bidet was a bit smelly. Consider the location - the hotel is located on a steep hill, a bit far away from the bus station and the metro station is even further. If you're traveling with older people, consider ordering an uber or taxi on your way back.
Staff was very wonderful, helped us to get to know the easiest way to the hotel, and explained a lot of things. Room was clean and good for a short stay. Overall the place is very nice,

United KingdomThe hotel location was okay - has a hill to climb to get to the main entrance. The metro & bus are about 10 mins walk away. There is a supermarket, laundrette & restaurants 5 mins walk away & sell pretty much everything you need. Hotel staff are really good - housekeeper & receptionists are so welcoming, friendly & knowledgeable. They were so helpful & kind. Especially Michael who really helped me set up my daughter's birthday & find the coliseum. Hotel is relatively clean, room was changed & cleaned daily, we did find a cigarette nub & none of us smoke so it was from the previous guest. Towels & tissue replaced daily without us asking. Shower is small & good pressure. Beds are comfortable. TV has all Netflix & English shows. Balcony was dirty so we didn't use it. Breakfast was okay - coffee machine was broken but we were able to get our coffee anyway. It's a continental breakfast of fruit, cold boiled eggs, ham, the croissants were yummy. The bin was nearby so did cause some flies. Kitchen staff were very accommodating & helpful. Restaurant for lunch or dinner was closed however bar was open for drinks & water. Overall.. we had a pleasant stay & enjoyed ourselves. We would recommend & return to the hotel

United KingdomThe shower cubicle was too small to have a decent shower. You can't turn or bend. Limited wash towels. No entertainment was provided by the TV in the room. No cups or water or kettle or tea in room. The phone wasn't working. Could not regulate the heating. One particular staff was abrasive and uninviting. The distance to walk to the hotel was concerning especially on a dark night like winter. The walk up did not feel safe. Appears neglected. I would be afraid to walk by myself. But lovely views of the hills around.
Good shower pressure. Breakfast was okay. Some star were pleasant and the service personnel. The hotel itself was okay.
