Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Comfort, modern design and very functional, great service, fantastic breakfast. Very close by to the old city. Easy to access from the highway.

Location out of the center but we knew it so no issue really.
Very modern and clean, great quality for the price we paid. Receptionist helped us get a taxi during the night that takes us back to the hotel from a wedding, much appreciated.

Music is piped into the corridor and car park between 8:00 and 22:00 which we could hear in our room. We found this irritating. We asked for it turned down twice but this wasn’t done. We would not stay here again because of this.
Room was comfortable clean. Outside of town centre but an easy walk in. Supermarket nearby for snacks and drinks. Good breakfast.

Unable to open window. Room hence became extremely stuffy without the ventilation/fan. With the fan o , air was fine , but the fan was noisy. The room was completely in brown (including the loo paper), so not possible to judge cleanliness.

Noise,no good air conditioning
The hotel itself was nice but the air conditioning didn’t work much so had to open window to get any air. Then a bus load of kids arrive around 50-60 with a few chaperones and went wild making dinner miserable and the room so noisy. I had to discipline the children as the so called chaperones were down in Lobby not taking care of kids. I had to constantly complain to desk but they did minimal. For a 4 star hotel This is unexpected. Therefore I would advise to look somewhere else if you want peace and quiet and air conditioning.

Nothing really although it seemed incongruous in design compared to the historical beauty of Lecce. To be honest it is more of a business hotel than a tourist stay.
The hotel is comparatively new and in a totally excellent state of repair. The common parts are attractive, the rooms well fitted and there is free parking to the side and behind the hotel. Lecce town centre is a ten to fifteen minute walk. The staff are most helpful, the breakfast was reasonable but the restaurant was closed for refurbishment. The hotel is on a busy road which quite a down in the evening.

The staff is not really nice. The room is dirty with very little insects wandering around the room and bathroom. There is no tea or coffee maker, when we asked for one they answered that they were available in the junior suite. The shower temperature was either too cold or too hot. The towels could be used for a good exfoliation. The breakfast was poor. But anyway it is a budget hotel, with a fair price.
Nothing. Actually, if you are travelling around Lecce, the location is fine as you are already on the road.

service - did not care at all that we awoke on a saturday morning at 6:45 am because cleaning people were moving desks and chairs in the "happy area" or business center for almost an hour! Reception did nothing.,

Everything was great! I have no complaints
It was beautiful and so clean. The staff was great. We had an issue with the AC the first night and they were very helpful and gave us another room to spend the night without having to move the stuff, and fixed the problem the following morning. All the staff were super kind, breakfast was great! Everything is great! Will come back again

There is no room service, you just get told to come to the bar if you need anything. Which isn't a big issue although for a 4 star hotel I would expect more hospitality.
Modern hotel, nice rooms and facilities. Everything was clean and the onsite parking was very needed.
