We were international drivers so it was a little nerve wracking finding our way to the propperty, but once we found it was easy coming in and out. The hosts were very helpful with directions and the propperty is well signed once you get close to it.

loved the outdoor nature, was a beautiful tranquil stay. ideal if you rent a car and visit some of the local wineries. The pool and the view from the pool was gorgeous!

no dining option and not close to other restaurants, the closest supermarket is 20 min drive. the close farm serves great , yet expensive meal.

romantic location with gorgeous view. the pool is lovely, and the whole place is very quiet. decent and simple apartment with full kitchen accessories. the nature surrounding the place is amazing, close to San Gimignano and other main touristic point in Tuscany.

No air conditioning, which is a problem at temperatures of 35-39 degrees Celsius. But the host provided several mobile ventilation fans, so we managed to sleep in the heat anyway. One should be aware that the roads (2,4 km) to the site is non paved, steep and very bumpy. But, even so, it is a scenic ride. There is no restaurant or other possibilities for eating at the site, so either you eat out, or prepare your own food in the kitchen in the apartment.

Fantastic location with a stunning view to the wine yards, olive trees and the hills of Tuscany. Apartments are roomy and well equipped. Pool is huge and with a magnificent view to San Gimignano. Very friendly staff.

Some of the guests were a bit too much. They were drinking in the pool and shouting all day. It was Very annoying, we would have been happy to see the place has a policy to handle this.

Sofabed was uncomfortable. Kitchen could do with a spatula. A shelf in the shower would be useful. Some other guests were noisy at night outside our apartment (which was near the entrance). Dogs roaming free.

Lovely location. Comfy little apartment with good facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool and gardens. Lovely little terrace outside our apartment to eat on. We liked the cats who came to visit our terrace.

    1. If you are sensitive to room temperature, in winter it might be a bit chilly inside. Do take some warm socks or slippers if you stay during cold months. 2. Salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen would have been nice to have.

It has been mentioned many times that location is great, views are amazing, so I'll focus on the following: Road - yes, it is a gravel road, but it is OK for any normal car (driving there with a Ferrari is not recommendable), nothing difficult and by no means "dangerous". The only issue is when you meet another car in the opposite direction, but there are "pockets" to manage it. Just drive slowly. Don't be mislead by reviews on the popular maps service which in English translation mention bedbugs - there are NO bed bugs in Podere Il Pino. What you have is sometimes small forest bugs - peaceful and nice creatures, no problem at all. In cold months you need to pay for the gas additionally. Although I was a bit disappointed to get to know it only after booking was made, in reality the price was OK (we paid EUR 20 for 2 nights in a big apartment, stayed in February)

There was no microwave, and the oven there was very confusing and difficult to figure out. Not enough electric outlets in the kitchen. Some of the old pans should be renewed. Could use a breadboard and sharper knives. The most surprising thing was when we turned the heat up for just a little bit one night and we’re charged 30 euros. We felt that was unfair.

It was clean and spacious. Safe.

The kitchen was fully equipped, but lacking some of the convenient items for a short stay.

The view from the location is breathtaking, with beautiful sunsets behind San Gimignano in the background. The accommodation has a nice big garden, all set in an olive orchard. You can also buy local wine and olive oil from their farm.

Amazing location with a beautiful view of San Gimignano. Karen and team were extremely helpful with renting bikes and arranging a cooking class with Diana. The highlight was the cooking class one afternoon/evening when Diana and her husband came and had a cooking class at our apartment. We can’t wait to return one day. Hunky recommended, especially for families ( we were there with our 10,7 and 5 year olds).

Unfortunately, we stayed there only 2 nights. It was the best Tuscany experience for our family. We will come back and spend more time there in the future, for sure!

We had an amazing time at Podere il Pino property. The pool and the aroma of the flowers and spices of the gardens of the property, besides the characteristic view of Tuscany with the cypresses view, amid the vineyards, olive trees and sunflowers make the experience unique under the tuscany sun “Sole di Toscane”. I recommend to bring all you need not to leave the property if you don’t want. They have kitchen and laundry available. The staff is amazing! Nearby you have 2 wonderful medieval castle to visit: Monteriggioni and San Giminiano. I hardly recommend. In San Giminiano you will taste the world’s champion ice cream; Gelateria Dondoli. You won’t regret it!
