Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Lovely spacious central apartment within short distance of train station, shops and restaurants. Clean, full of character and well equipped. Two toilets was a bonus for us. Good air conditioning & quiet despite central location

A lot of stairs! I think it’s the 5th floor (maybe only 4th, but with no lift, you’ll feel the burn!)
Fantastic location, surrounded by shops and restaurants. Big spacious apartment. Great to have a washing machine half way through our road trip!

Wi-fi is awful. Not much crockery or kitchen equipment. No soap in the smaller bathroom. No parking nearby.

City parking is in 10min walk and you cannot drop luggage at the house. Be aware that there is no elevator. You have to walk through another bedroom to get to your bedroom, it was not clear from photos. We had some problems with getting the keys and heating, but it was solved.
Location in center close to everything. Nice balcony, spacious and beautiful apartment, almost everything that you need is there.

Horrible internet connection. Just horrible. Located in a 3rd floor, no lift. It wasn’t a problem for us, but accessibility is inexistent.

There was no parking near it but other than that nothing that ruined our stay
I liked how everything was very evenly spaced and the beds where very comfy and the location allowed us to access nearby shops and restaurants with ease

The apartment does look a little bit more 'tired' than the photos suggest, but it was still lovely. There was a lingering smell of fish on arrival. Even after keeping the windows open as much as possible for our 2-night stay we couldn't seem to eradicate this so perhaps it needs to be aired out a bit more.
Beautiful, spacious old apartment building in Bolzano town centre. It felt very in-keeping with the town itself. Easy enough to access from the train station (approx 15mins walk), a nice stroll into the centre of town, and <5 mins to the Ötsi museum (very interesting!) and the river which was a nice spot for a run. Excellent communication from hosts - easy, non contact check in. Would happily return here to stay.

The check-in process was completely online and the instructions were complicated. Parking was also complicated due to ZTL. Online communication was all automatic and low quality. It was difficult to figure out how to enter the building. Opening the door was tricky and had to call property management. They seemed annoyed that I couldn’t open the door all by myself.
Very walkable location in downtown Bolzano. Entire loft with multiple beds. 1.5 bathrooms

The second bedroom is right off of the living room separated by a glass french door so we couldn't hang out in the living room late in the evening because we were disturbing our kids who were sleeping in that room.
The location of the apartment was excellent. It is close to the downtown/walking area, close to shops, restaurants and about 8 min walk from a underground parking garage. There is a coffee shop just 2 min walk from the apartment and an duner kebob place which was opened quite late at night.
