The A/C is old and very nosy. It wasn’t working properly. You can’t sleep while A/C is working.

Spectacular view and beautiful architecture. The building seems like a old monastery or church. The room is spacious. The breakfast was great. Croissants were crispy and freshly baked.

The road going to the hotel is very narrow. It might be problem for unexperienced drivers. If you are not travelling by car, this hotel is not an option for you.

We stayed in separate building, not in the real villa. This was not mentioned in the booking description. Our room was not shown on the images. There are no standard electric outlets so you can not use hair dryer and water heater. There is small fridge but it is not plugged because there is no outlet. There was no WiFi at all in our room, although we informed reception immediately after arrival . In our 3 night stay we had one room cleaning. Breakfast was pretty poor.

Villa has nice location. Our apartment was clean and warm.

room were a bit cold. two cups for four guests. we were also missing a bin in room, the one in toilet was too small for everything.

big parking, unique design rooms, great breakfast and beautiful views. of course, not luxury apartment, but very great for its value. for breakfast there were tuna sandwiches, yogurts, juices and a lot of croissants, biscuits and cakes. in room there was two cups and a couple of tea bags and a kettle.

Guests with no respect to others, running, screaming and talking loud in the the hallways past 10pm

Everything was great but if we knew we could hear everything in our room (flashing other guests toilets, them talking through the walls, kids running and being loud in the hallways) we would ask for a room away from the stairways to be able to get some rest)

It was too far away from the bus stop. A mile up the hill is really far, and it’s not that well lit with no sidewalk. Also, it was very cold in our room, the thermostat couldn’t keep up with the cold weather.

Loved the staff, one waiter in the restaurant in particular was an absolute pleasure. Everyone made our stay very nice. It’s a beautiful property, large rooms, great food.

we had a nice stay in the castle, with a beautiful view around. Spacious room, a very friendly guy at the reception. Nice breakfast. Each room has an interesting funny name :)

Our room had a smell problem in the bathroom, which was addressed with extra cleaning but failed to resolve the issue fully (draining issues) Staff was a big let down. No one helped with luggage though we had two older travelers in the group, we requested extra pillows which never appeared…they also asked for the city tax in cash while all other hotels in Italy can only accept as electronic payment

Quite far from city center but it was not surprise (20 minutes driving to the nearest coop shopping mall parking with accessibility to tram to city center for another 25 minutes ) The road is very dark in the evening No elevator to the rooms in first floor while the stairs are extremely high (as it is old building with very high ceiling ) The mattress of 2 single beds were really uncomfortable

The road is difficult, the view is nice but the rooms are old and smell old and the proprety is too hard to reach.

Not much - the mosquito netting on the room window could do with fixing a bit

I liked the location (but with the main road closed it was pretty hard to find up a difficult and very narrow road). Fine rather austere building. Breakfast was fine. I even liked the over-the-top eclectic decor, unlike anything I have ever seen before and in sharp contrast to the architectural austerity. Low bedroom doors a reminder of its original purpose! Very helpful and friendly staff

Tricky drive to the hotel

Amazing location (we travelled by car and it’s necessary to have one, but a very tricky road to the hotel). Nice pool and good breakfast. Caesar was an amazing host! Very funny! Quite and calm, perfect for a few days rest
