Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe hotel was beautifully decorated and surprisingly quiet given the neighborhood. It was comfortable and we felt safe and welcomed. Giuseppe and Antonio were fabulous hosts. They made us feel like family. I would definitely come here again when visiting the surrounding areas: Pompeii, Herculaneum, etc.

United KingdomStairs up to the property scared the life out of me when we arrived as we had walked so much that day, however again decorated really nice which made the walk up them easier
Style of hotel was absolutely unreal, exactly like the photos which is extremely rare.. Rooms super, clean, airy, comfortable and again no expense spared on decor. Location was great for us. Terrace was really nice to sit on and breakfast great. Staff all lovely and helped with everything.

Czech RepublicSpacious rooms, good breakfast and very friendly staff made our stay here very nice. Taxis and car rental was on time and as promised. Several small local restaurants and bars around or you can just have a drink at the hotel. The surrounding of the hotel might look kind a “weird”, but it was ok. Thank you from the stay.

FranceThere was a private party during our stay, so it was loud in the room until midnight. The hotel warned us a few days before though, this was fair.
We loved the room decoration and light system !

IndiaLocation could be a bit better. Gets a bit deserted after 10 pm.
Close proximity to the train station, port, beach and good restaurants. Host also invited us for a party on Easter weekend. There is a club below the hotel.

HungaryThe town around the hotel is a bit shabby and spooky. I hope the town and its tourism will improve.
Best Cappuccino in Naples. Super friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. They were happy to help with suggestions about activities, tours, basically everything. They even invited us to their pizza party and it was flawless! Every room had moodlights, the hotel looks beautiful and modern.

United KingdomBecause we arrived late a night we wasn’t really sure on the area, there also isn’t a lift to the main reception so had to walk up quite a few stairs. But there was someone to help us
I loved the decoration! It was very fancy and more modern than most places in Italy. The staff were great too, very helpful.

AustraliaBreakfast became a little monotonous (we were there for a week to explore Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum etc). Area is not very good. A couple of nights the co-located bar was quite noisy until around 11pm plus.
we had a very large room with a large bathroom facing the street. One of the three TA stations was very close. A young man was extremely attentive to us, welcoming us each time for breakfast or when we returned to the hotel.

United KingdomNothing. The town is a little old and shabby chic, but do not let that put you off visiting!! Safe and friendly.
Everything was amazing! Our hosts were brilliant! Rooms were comfy and funky lights for shower and the bedroom. The outside bar and seating areas were fantastic. Only 5 mins on the train to Pompeii... Great location for a lovely town. Every single person was friendly.

United KingdomThe only drawback to this hotel is the location, being at the tattier end of a fairly uninspiring suburb of Naples. However it did not feel unsafe walking in the local area.
Really helpful proprietor who really put in a lot of effort to help us enjoy our stay, organising hotel transport to and from Pompei and Herculaneum and to local stations. Hotel was comfortable, clean and fresh with interesting decorative touches. Much better value than staying in Naples city.
