There are a LOTS of stairs to climb. To either apartment, it’s a lot of stairs. It’s doable don’t get me wrong (I’m 35 and my mum is 65 and we both managed). With suitcases is another story lol. Veryyyyyy taxing. Super important to know this for elderly people or people with mobility challenges. There is no early check in and no luggage storage. we arrived early on the train and had to pay to store our luggage somewhere else so we didn’t waste our only day in Verona. This would be something for the owners to consider being more accommodating in the future. There’s also no instruction booklet/welcome packet/any information about the apartment in the apartment. You have to ask for the info you need via WhatsApp (eg at 11pm I wanted to use the jacuzzi but couldn’t work it with no instructions). Thankfully they are very quick to respond, but providing this kind of info in the apartment or in an email prior would be great.

First, this property is so stunning! The design, decor, layout, linens, everything is beautifully and tastefully designed. The location is phenomenal! You can basically reach out your window and touch the Arena! We stayed in the Giulietta suite (top floor with the jacuzzi tub). There are only 2 apartments in the building, the Romeo is on the “first” floor and Giulietta on the top floor. It’s very private and feels safe. The spa tub is so fun and a great addition to the apartment. Once you’re in the apartment, it’s amazing and I would love to live there lol. But as a traveler with suitcases it’s tough with the stairs.

The directions in the booking.com app kept leading me to the heart statue, which isn't the hotel. I didn't know that it wasn't a traditional hotel, which made it harder to find as well. I walked around in circles for half an hour and no one I spoke to was able to help me find it. I also didn't get the message about the passports and code, so I had to download an app on the spot ( I never heard of this app) though it does work. But water under the bridge.

The location couldn't be better, it is in the heart of the public square and in the center of the piazza. As we had tickets for the opera, it couldn't have been closer. The room is very nicely appointed and very clean. The host gave me great information for parking our car.

About 70 stairs to get to the unit

Great location across the street from amphitheater (beautiful at night!) Steps to fabulous restaurants. Very well equipped. Just FYI we bought concert tickets to Arena di Verona which is a different venue than the amphitheater

The entire unit was very tastefully designed new and very well kept. Appartment unit comes with a loft and as such, you enjoy high ceiling which is a luxury. It is situated right next to the Arena literally (outside your window) and the Piazza and next to the Shopping district, the location cannot be more central for exploring the city. There was also a cafe Martel for anyone wanting a cafe/breakfast just 1-2min walk next block. Appartment we had was the top floor, single door. As such, there was a lot of privacy despite being so central. The windows were effective in keeping the temperature of the unit as well as screening away the noise. We appreciate the bathtub/jacuzzi (you can get a bath bomb or bubble bath from LUSH located nearby at the piazza). Key is electronic and adds to the convenience. Host was responsive on WhatsApp. In short, very pleasant and romantic way to rejuvenate and refresh. Note there is no lift in this old town appartment. Not suited for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise, a gem to explore Verona or for couples:-)

The rain shower head needs a clean as the water is spraying in all different directions. Also there wan no hot water on the last morning, but this was at 7.30am, perhaps it is on a timer and heats up later? We were unable to work the TV-all the channels said no connection. The safe was also not working.

The location is incredible. Right next to the Arena so very central making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

Location of the apartment was excellent, directly opposite the Arena di Verona. Shops and restaurants were on the doorstep. The apartment was double glazed so you could not hear any noise from the busy street outside. There was a small kitchen area, with kettle, hob, coffee maker etc. Air con nice and cold which was needed as it was hot outside. Apartment very clean, lovely big shower.

Nothing to dislike. The wooden floor could be a tad cleaner and some additional hygienic articles (soap, shampoo) would be a plus.

The location is perfect as it is in front of the arena. Due to this, it cannot be reached by car. I recommend to drop the car in the Cittadelle parking.

Personally the mattress was too firm, a mattress topper would be good for more comfort. We walked past it initially and did a loop looking for it, some landmark directions would help ie across or behind a shop for example.

Location, you can’t get more central. The view. The space. Clean and modern. Very quiet and peaceful. Good bathroom, good utilities.

Very difficult to locate. Very much needs to be mentioned clearly there is a huge flight of stairs with no lift. No loo roll or bathrobes and shower needs maintenance!

Nothing major , would have been good to have two codes for the door as it meant that we had to be together to get in . However we didn’t ask so this may have been possible !

The location was perfect especially for the opera at the arena . So good that instead of queuing for the bathroom at the opera we popped to the apartment! We stayed in Julietta which had the large bath .

Clarify on description that there are two apartments- Romeo & Guiletta, so it's clear the bath / tub is in Guiletta

Location was central right next to the Arena di Verona. Light, clean airy. Spacious for 2 pple and sound proofing was excellent- especially when there was a concert in the Arena Oh, beds super comfy & shower was perfect
