Not sure if there was something in particular happening that night, but the street was full of shouting and carrying on well past 2:00am. The bathroom was somewhat cramped for a tall person and not well lit.

Room was facing onto one of small streets, was a reasonable size. The location is handy to all the main attractions, restaurants and bars as well as the main railway station. Although an older building and in need of a touch of paint, it looks and feels clean - bedding could not be faulted.

The room was okay in terms of cleanliness but it could be better.

The hotel is located in one of the most central streets in Florence, you could go everywhere by foot and the distance from the train station, Santa Maria Novella, was 5 minutes. It is also close to the flea market of leather products. I loved the fact that everyone was friendly, especially the receptionist in the morning, who was so kind and polite. My room was not ready the time I arrived, so they gave me a better one and the day of the check out, they could keep my luggage in a safe place. The hotel has a bank in front of the building, a supermarket and many restaurants and cafes. Trattoria Zaza, one of my favourite in Florence, is two minutes away!

Even though the sheets were clean, the bed cover was definitely not. Luckily we had the clean sheet. The corridors are extremely noisy as well as the street outside. I would suggest ear plugs! The hotel is in dire need of some upgrades in my opinion. It’s really not a bad hotel.

Travelling for several months, it would have been good to have another case stand to hold another bag but maybe I should have asked. Otherwise good value. The view out the window wasn't the best.

Noisy. I can hear other guests' cell phones ringing, their toilets flushing and noises in the hallway. The shower stall was small and one of the doors did not close. The shower head was also broken in my bathroom.

Staff members were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good, but I wished it were served at 7 a.m. instead of 7:30.

Sometimes we could hear the TV from the next room (but it was really loud). The price was high, but everything in florence is expensive in this season.

Kind staff, very good location close to the main train station S.M.N and the main touristic sites. The internet worked well. Good breakfast with caffe, fruit, croissant, cereal, juice and sweet bread. The hotel is next to the street but the window is thick enough to control the noise. They stored our luggage some hours after we checked out. We really had a very good stay there at hotel victoria. Thank you! Received Informationen about the city tax only before triip. This has to be provided before booking. City tax is paid in cash and not included in the room price. Do not disturb plates are needed. Somebody from the stuff was trying to enter the room while we were resting. The window view is quite different from the photo on booking.

Cramped bathrooms, but again typical of Italy.

This hotel.had an excellent location. Perfect for shopping. Central to all attractions and restaurants. Great breakfast. ours was not included, by choice and we still used the service. In need of some up dating...although not untipicle for Italy unless you want to pay much more. All in all. a great value.
