One important flaw was that two members of our family were in separate rooms with what appeared to be a window which would open, and it did. However the supposedly external window opened onto a corridor filled with clean linen Our family members did not tell us until too late, but we felt this was not acceptable. There was a faintly painted picture on the window from the internal side So there was no fresh air. We had four rooms booked and two had this false "window".

The Hotel Villa Medici is situated in a very convenient location. At just 2 minutes from the highway it is perfect for a stop over night. However there are no noises whatsoever to be heard from the highway. This makes it also great for a longer stay. Michele from the reception was extremely helpful, during the whole time. The communication was great. We had a slight inconvenience upon arrival, that was promptly solved by him. What really made our stay though, was the experience in the restaurant. The food was amazing - and Maitre Roberto was absolutely fantastic in giving us great advice about the food and the wine. He was great with our kids, while making funny jokes and bringing them little presents. We, as parents, were enjoying our dinner and the kids were happy. Thanks for your high professionality and knowledgeable suggestions, Roberto. We hope to be coming back, to maybe habe a chit-chat after dinner. It's been a pleasure.

The "breakfast" staff wasn't so polite and my room had the only window facing an ugly internal space with a plastic cover that was making a very hot ambient and a lot of noise due to the wind. The noise from the hallway was very loud during the night.

the breakfast has a wide variety of sweet items but perhaps more cheese and eggs would be nice for those who prefer a savory breakfast.

the room was very clean. and the extra-wide bed was comfortable. all the staff were polite and when our shower head fell off it was replaced right away. the staff were all helpful if asked for anything.

High sound from AC which made it noisy. Eventough they tried to fix the issue it didn't solve the problem but they were kind to give us a fan instead which worked perfectly and a discount. The hotel is a bit outdated.

Spacious and clean room (we upgraded from a smaller room) with nice balcony with view over the beautiful and clean pool. Very good food at the restaurant and great staff. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Close to the high way and also to the beach.

They organised a birthday party next to the pool till midnight. The noice was so loud, that it was inpossible to sleep. I have no problems with parties but if I pay for accomodation that’s the minimum that they take care of the circumstances.

The furnishings of the room did not correspond to a 4-star hotel. There was a window with a view of some common closed loggia, so there was no possibility of fresh air. We stayed at the hotel for one night, unfortunately there was a big party with music and drunk people, the hotel was very noisy until late night.

Kind of hydraulic noise started during the nigh while I was sleeping, then stoppen, then restarted, and so on. Impossible to sleep, ro to reamin asleep. A noise like refilling pipes or similar,,, probably the external heating system. The fact is that I have been looking for support calling the desk, but none answered. Few times. I was very tired in the morning, with the perspective of having to drive 500km to home... Very bad.
