Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis was our first time in Tuscany, and staying with the warm and generous Anna and her husband Gabriel made it truly unforgettable. From the start, we felt more like family than guests. Anna’s home is beautiful and spotless, with a peaceful magnolia courtyard that we absolutely loved. Morning breakfast was a treat — thoughtfully prepared by Anna, and Gabriel’s cloud egg was a special highlight! And Anna even prepared a local cake to help celebrate our friends’ wedding anniversary. We were very much touched. Their hospitality was heartfelt and genuine. If you’re visiting Tuscany, this is the kind of stay that makes your trip truly memorable.

GreeceWe had a wonderful stay at La Magnolia. Anna and Gabriele were excellent hosts. .The rooms were spacious, clean and very stylish — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The garden also was very nice for eating breakfast in the morning or drinking a glass of tasteful Classico Chianti wine gazing at the stars. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with a great variety of fresh and delicious cakes and Tuscanys’ tastes, as well. Everything exceeded to our expectations!

PolandOur experience at La Magnolia can truly be summed up in one word: perfect. From the moment we arrived, the owners were incredibly super nice and helpful, making us feel right at home. The entire property is simply beautiful. Our room, the bathroom, and the whole house were immaculate and beautifully decorated, creating a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere. The garden was also a delight, offering a peaceful and charming space to relax. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared and served by the owner. It featured a fantastic spread of local cold cuts, mouth-watering homemade cakes, and freshly baked focaccia. Of course, there was also excellent coffee and refreshing fresh orange juice. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Five stars all around!

United KingdomThere were no check in instructions, we didnt know how to open the main gate or where to go to check in. Would be great to have a bell sign at the entrance and a reception sign on the door.
Our room had an entrance to the garden which gave us some privacy. Breakfast was amazing, Anna prepared homemade cakes, juice and some other food for the breakfast. It was delicious with good variety

United StatesNothing. We loved everything.
La Magnolia was perfectly lovely. There are beautiful gardens with fruit and olive trees. It's a quiet sanctuary within an easy 15 minutes drive of vineyards and olive groves with wine and olive oil tasting, castles, and restaurants. An hour's drive takes you into the mountains or to other Tuscan hill towns. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and even better it had a door to a walled garden within the gardens where we could sit and relax in the morning and evening, listening to a nightingale sing and watching the martins fly overhead. And the breakfast was amazing! Beautiful cheeses, salami and prosciutto, fruit, 3 kinds of cakes, fresh fruit... I wish now I'd taken a picture, but I was too busy eating! Anna and her partner are so welcoming and kind, accommodating allergies and preferences as a matter of course that I'm sure we will return, next time staying longer.

United StatesIt's gorgeous. I can't say enough about this lovely charming place. Notes: You really need a car in this area. There are very few taxis. There is a bus apparently but yeah you need a car. This may not be the place for revelers. The owners' home is on site and there are only a few rooms so unless you're taking all the rooms you're going to be heard by other guests. Also I believe it's no smoking in rooms so double check (what a relief from most of italy!) The breakfast is so gorgeous and these owners seem to really care about their patrons.

United StatesThe only minor drawback was the thin walls—since the home is shared with other guests, voices from the kitchen could sometimes be heard in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, this might wake you earlier than planned. That said, it was a small trade-off for such an otherwise perfect stay.
Exceptional Hospitality in the Heart of Chianti I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay at this charming Airbnb in Chianti. From the moment we arrived, Anna made us feel like family, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Her warmth and attention to detail truly made this a home away from home. The accommodations were cozy and impeccably maintained—our rooms were cleaned and turned down nightly, adding a lovely, intimate touch. Waking up to the aroma of fresh pastries and a delicious Tuscan-style breakfast was an absolute delight. Anna’s care and dedication to our experience were evident in every little gesture. The location was serene, surrounded by breathtaking scenery that made our stay even more magical. Whether enjoying a quiet morning with a cup of coffee or taking in the rolling hills of Tuscany, the peacefulness was unmatched. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, thanks to Anna’s incredible hospitality. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, warm, and relaxing Tuscan getaway. Grazie mille!
