Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Great location, right in the middle of town in a grand old building. The decor and shower were a little quirky but I just found it endearing. TV had movie and sports channels. The guy was very friendly and let me drop off my bag before check in.

There was no parking! Even tho we filtered "free parking" hotel does not provide it. We needed to find parking lot in the city and hotel just suggested paid parking lots. Then please check-out the parking pissibility near your hotel!
Hotel is located at the center of Genova, literally. Our room was small but nice. Comfortable bed and very nice, friendly staff! The bathroom also clean and good. Real price performance room in Genova.

Sign for hotel on corner of retail building - mid block a closed wooden door had license plate sized sign for hotel… very difficult to find. Coffee machine in room advertised - no coffee ( bring own pods). Room needs a good cleaning.

The location is fantastic. The building looks amazing. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The room was fairly comfortable, very clean. The bathroom was of decent size, very clean again. There is no parking space in front of the entrance, on a very busy street, and you need to spot instructions to the hotel, as they are not very visible. But I think this is a good value for the money, all considering.

The room bathroom had no windows and the water pressure was a bit low
Strategic location, halfway through the road from the station to piazza Ferrari. There was also a free cold/warm/hot water dispenser.

The pictures on the internet with colourful eluminated bath etc were no features in the room.
Location great, good enough ro go and sleep after a day on the feet sigthseeing. If the room faces a street it could get rather noisy.

The room at night is a little noisy, not too much we could sleep. The parking was full because we reserve on the same day.
The person in the front desk was very nice and the room is huge and confortable. We got jacuzzi in the room, great treat.

Bed was 2 bad matresses together Private toilet outside the bedroom and shared sink Windows didnt have blinders but there was not much sunlight because it faced the lobby between 4 buildings

- We stayed in room 3 and there is a toilet that makes strange sounds when use water, but you get used to it very quickly. - You can hear everything. - Late check-in hours.
✅The location is just perfect. You can get everywhere on foot and the Brignole station is just 5 minutes walk. ✅The hotel itself is in an old building which looks stunning! ✅The staff is very friendly and helpful. ✅The room was clean.

You can hear other guests so can get noisy and is unpleasant Would be nice to be able to leave bags longer than 1pm after check out

At 16.00 nobody was there to check in and we were waiting outside for half an hour. It was noisy and the decoration was poor.

The shower/bathroom situation is weird. When you travel with friends this is not the place for you. the shower was in the room. Next to that no question about pets was asked beforehand but when we arrived one of the first things said was that we did not let them know about the pet… you did not ask?
The location was very nice, in the middle of a busy street.
