Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SyriaThe right running machine in the gym needs maintenance. None of the swimming pools is shaded for people who want to swim without getting burned. There was no stuff in the coffe shop of the hotel. The golf cart is not available unless it was requested to go to the beach.
It has 5 swimming pools. The big spiral water slide. It has its own beach. There are 2 laptops in the coffe shop which enabled me to do some of my work.

Palestinian TerritoryThe prices are very high, in fact super high compared to local prices. A can of 7up is priced almost 7 times the local price! same goes for other food items. The internet needs upgrading in terms of speed. The evening program is quite boring for kids!...they should work on including more activities after dinner for kids, not for adults! The gym seemed like abandoned, with many training tools not functioning. It needs more maintenance.
We stayed as a family with 2 kids for 8 nights with breakfast and dinner, and it was a great hotel. The room was spacious and always clean, the service was prompt. The food was good for breakfast, but excellent for dinner. Quite a nice and local variety of food for dinner, but boring yet satisfactory breakfast. The internet was good but not enough to watch videos and movies. The hotel is close to the beach of the dead sea, which was amended with some artificial sand to make it appealing, but it was a great to take a dip in the sea, well maintained facility and toilets nearby. The pools were great and clean, especially the 2 pools for kids. I enjoyed staying there, and I would recommend it to other families with little kids.

SwitzerlandToo many children. Public spaces for breakfast and dinner where crowded with unsupervised kids running around and splashing water around them.
There was a large breakfast Buffet with a lot of different choices. Ample space. The downside was that there where a lot of Kids. So for Families this place would be an ideal choice. For couples travelling without children not forcefully.

RomaniaNot to much to complain. It will be nice that the beds to be a little bigger and also to have some hotel slippers. If you do not bring one pair from home..... Also the breakfast improvements will be a plus.
The personnel it is amazing, especially the ones from the Lebanese restaurant but not limited to. Spotless clean. Grate location, near dead sea The food in the Lebanese restaurant it is amazing. Nice facilities.

New ZealandThe air con was VERY LOUD and very inefficient. We were very hot all night, even though the AC was on its highest setting. The music from outside (near the restaurant) was very loud and continued until 11 pm. Considering the number of families staying with children, it was quite bizarre that the hotel would think this was ok. We were 2 adults and 2 children (aged 8 and 11), they supplied us with 2 beds that were 1.5 of a single. We shoved the beds together to make just enough room for us all to squeeze in. This has happened a few times in Arab countries - whilst booking, the hotel confirms that there are enough beds for all guests, however, upon arrival you discover there really isn't - I'm not sure if this is a fault with booking.com or the hotels themselves, but it needs to be addressed.
A pleasant walk down to the Dead Sea, a few shaded areas and deck chairs provided, as well as showers and mud stands. Very friendly staff and I was, of course, appropriately happy with the instant "room upgrade" (that almost everyone seems to get....), although I am not sure how this was achieved as the hotel was completely booked out the night we arrived.... The room was clean. Happy hour, half price drinks at the bar, was a nice surprise

United KingdomSwimming pool had lots of dead bugs in it, really needed a hoover. The shower was leaking and using the sink made water appear from the drain. The food was ok, breakfast had limited hot items.
Beautiful grounds and lovely clean, spacious rooms. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the fact you could walk a few minutes to the Dead Sea. Had evening entertainment and good drinks menu.

JordanThe breakfast. The food was acceptable. However, could have been better. The bread didn’t feel fresh. The employee at the omelette station needs better training in customer service basics. On the other hand, the waitresses pouring coffee and tea for customers were very attentive and responsive.
The lady at the reception was very kind and offered us an immediate room upgrade upon arrival which felt like a nice welcoming atmosphere:)

KuwaitPerhaps the only thing which could have been better is the house cleaning didn’t make up our room on their own
We had a wonderful stay at Dead Sea Spa Resort, having booked three Sea-facing rooms for our group. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing. The resort's location has a direct and easy access to the Dead Sea. It’s very family-friendly, offering separate pools for children and adults, which made it enjoyable for all age groups. Breakfast had a decent and satisfying spread to suit various tastes. Another plus was the ample free parking, which made logistics hassle-free. Special mention to the staff — they were courteous and always ready to assist, even during late-night requests. Overall, a great stay and we’d happily return!

KuwaitSmall bad remarks: Even though we checked in late, our room was not ready. Tissue, dental kits, and slippers were not available, and shampoo and shower gel were not filled, our sink was clogged with cigarettes. However, housekeeping and maintenance staffs have taken action on all of them as soon as we called them.
We enjoyed staying there even if it was only one night. The whole resort was clean, we had a delicious breakfast overlooking the Dead Sea and the staffs at the restaurant were friendly and were always ready to attend the guests. It has a very easy access to the Dead Sea.
