Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicI truly loved my stay! Mohamed was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to make my experience as enjoyable as possible. He picked me up from the visitor center upon arrival and also drove me there and back, as the flat is located up the hill, so I avoided being scammed by taxi drivers as no app works in Wadi Musa. He and his mother warmly welcomed me into their cozy home, offering tea and freshly made rolls. Mohamed gave me invaluable tips for my trips to Petra, helping me save money while exploring more thoroughly—I highly recommend spending two days there. The traditional dinner was delicious, and the breakfast was fantastic. Many thanks to Mohamed for such a wonderful stay—I would gladly return!

United KingdomVery comfortable room and helpful advice from Mohammed, he makes you feel very welcome. I definitely recommend you stay here if you want a warm welcome from a host that is always happy to help you with recommendations for Petra and Jordan as a whole. The food is home cooked by his mum and it is very good traditional Jordanian food, much better than restaurants.

AustriaIt was my 5th time in Petra and this was the best accommodation by far. The rooms are pretty, clean and spacious. The hospitality you'll receive is incredible and if you are lucky, you might even get to try Mohammad's mom's cooking - who also makes the best tea in Jordan! Mohammad knows a lot about Petra itself and can give you plenty of insider information, especially about all the best hikes. If I'll visit a 6th time, I'll definitely stay here again

FinlandThe shower head didn't work. Taking a shower was very difficult. The problem was never water pressure because water was fine in the sink. Mohammed offered to change the room but we were tired and didn't change. PS: we had the same problem with the shower head in all our stays irb Jordan
The flat was very clean and spacious and easy to find. It had free private parking behind the flat. The host were extremely helpful and friendly. They received us and offered us tea in their home, they live next door. The communication with the host was very smooth and their responses were quick. Mohammad, the host was supportive to come and check when we had a problem with the shower head water pressure. They offer home cooked food made by Mohammad's mother and family members, we took the offer for the homemade dinner and it was a lovely experience. I recommend having food if you're going to stay there.

AustraliaThe family were extremely welcoming. We were invited into their home for light refreshments upon arrival. They helped organise lifts to and from the property at a moments notice. The add on breakfast and dinners were fantastic traditional home cooked meals. Once again we were welcomed into their home to enjoy their families lovely cooking. If you are to stay here, make sure to try the world’s greatest tea imaginable. Highly recommend.

RomaniaWe had the immense pleasure of staying in this apartment during our visit to Jordan, and it truly was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and genuine warmth that made us feel like part of the family. One of the highlights of our stay was the evening we spent making dinner together. The meal, lovingly prepared by our host’s mother, was an authentic feast of Jordanian cuisine that we will never forget. Each bite was a testament to the rich culinary traditions of the region. We left with our hearts full and a deep appreciation for the incredible hospitality we received. Thank you, Mohammad, and your family for making our visit to Jordan so special.

PolandThis is a gem! For such a touristy place as Wadi Musa, it feels so genuine and totally like home. You are basically welsomed into the family. Cooking with Mohammad's mom was a treat! She's a great cook. The rooms are spacious, comfy and clean. The host organises his friends as taxi drivers so you get a really nice price and you are not ripped off by local taxis. Best choice in town!

United KingdomGreat place to stay in Wadi Musa. The host was very responsive on WhatsApp and we arrived late and he arranged for his mother to cook us a delicious dinner which was perfect after driving all day. The food is authentic and his mother and father sat with us and gave us an insight into Jordanian life. We also had the breakfast before setting off to Petra. The tea is delicious!! Petra is a short drive away, plenty of parking for our car which was great. Room and wifi was also great, if you’re a light sleeper do bring earplugs as the school kids across the road can be noisy from 8am but generally Petra is the sort of place you want to be up and going early to explore the sites!
