Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

I can not think of anything I really disliked
The hotel was very nice, the personal kind and helping. The location is good, near the station. Takayama is not a big town. We had a suite with three beds, very big and confortable, with kitchen and table. The view was amazing.

The hotel might be far for tourist attraction in the Takayama town but it's a walking distance from train station so it's like Pro & Cons.
The hotel has eco concept ,It's beautiful and well design .The facilities and public bath are really good.The hotel are generous with all room amenities. Surprisingly the bed are huge for 4 people which make us had really comfy and relax nights.

We didn’t book the breakfast in advance and when we tried to book it upon arrival, they told us that it was already full. It was the first time that we find ourselves in a situation like that. They did not provide any alternative for us and at 7am is very hard to find anything open around. Given it is a large hotel, they should find a way to solve this problem so that there is not such limited capacity for breakfast at the usual times.
It is a very new and modern hotel with very good beds and facilities. I’d definitely recommend it. It is convenient to be right next to the train and bus station and only some minutes away walking from the old town.

The parking charges was quite high at JPY1,500 per day although we were permitted to drive in and out throughout the day.
Hotel is in a good location and within walking distance to the Miyagawa Morning Market and Takayama old town. There are also supermarkets and a mall not far from the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions. There's a water dispenser at the lobby floor where we can refill our water bottles.

They didn’t provide coffee in the rooms (although there was some to purchase from the shop downstairs).
Fantastic stay all around. Lovely staff, massive and comfortable bed, relaxing little onsen, and perfect location. They also had e-bikes to rent, which was fun! Would highly recommend.

We couldn’t drink a coffee in the morning if you don’t have booked breakfast.
Nice, comfortable and clean. There is a public bath(onsen type). Very close to takayama station so very convenient.

Loved everything about our stay at this hotel! Exceeded our expectations in every way. Firstly the hotel is beautiful, immaculately clean and in a perfect location. From the time you enter, the staff are exceedingly friendly, helpful and so kind. The checkin process is semi-automated but a wonderful and modern experience and staff guide you through it. The hotel has a beautiful aesthetic and attention to detail. Provides options for local activities and food, laundry services, smart TV. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. We used the onsen on site and what a delightful and calming experience. The laundry service was easy to use. They have washer/dryers so you don’t need to worry about switching your laundry between machines. We walked everywhere and found the hotel to be perfectly located and easy to find our way back. Can’t say enough nice things about our stay. The hotel is doing things right and has a modern approach that we enjoyed. Would definitely return to Takayama to stay at this hotel again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This places was so much more incredible than I expected. We had a traditional room which was beautifully designed. The hotel had different corners of information to look at.

Public bathing area (onsen for each gender) and you can also book a private onsen for 20 Yen for 45 minutes. They also offer free bottled milk after private onsen experience. So lovely! Blackout blinds were amazing Lovely modern room Paid a bit more to get a room with more space Central location - walking distance from main hub

That the bicycles were for rent, it would be best if they’re available free of charge on a first come first served basis.

Location was great as it was just a few minutes from the Nohi Bus Terminal, also close to the JR station. Room modern and very clean, bed comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hot spring facilities were great. We also paid a small fee to rent bicycles. Takayama old town is only 12 minutes walk away. We also rode the bicycles there in the evening. Would highly recommend this hotel.
