The walls are thin and the soundproofing between rooms is not good. The day we stayed, the family next door made noise until almost 1am.

Self-check in is no so fast, you have to check the email received in advance. No place to eat, no tables.

You can see the mount Fuji from the hostel street, very beautiful. Very quite place, it looks better than photos. There are small element as free water and microwave in diferent areas of the hostel. The rooftop in in construction but you can use it.

There is no kitchen or any basic tableware (only a fridge and a microwave in the corridor). The building and terrace have seen better days. The room had a bad smell and there was a little bit of mold in the corners.

The rooms have a lot of space and the beds are confortable. The roof terrace have a really nice view of mount Fuji and the surrounding. Great location.

Confusing check in process, no reception, can hear lots noise from other people staying.

This is the second time I have stayed here and the first time I was very impressed. However, this time there is no common area and it has become a bar instead. We had no common area to sit and relax after coming back from a trip and had to stay in the room and the smell of food from the bar sneaked into the accommodation area.

I like the quietness and peace of this area. It is easy to travel to other places.

The door lock for the room was a bit clumsy. The facility information said there was a kitchen, but I didn’t see a kitchen guests could use. English signs were blatantly wrong and misleading. In the shower room, the floor was very wet and slippery. The dryer didn’t dry our clothes after 2 hours of running.

Reasonably priced for a group/family travelers. The room was clean. It’s not easy to find a reasonably priced accommodation like this in this area.

The main door of this unmanned hostel wasn't locked. So anyone can get into the hostel building. Even if the bedroom is locked, it is still not safe because the shared bath doesn't require excess code. And the shared shower is not separated between male and female. The wall was not sound proof, so if you are sensitive to noise, this hostel is not for you. We have some issues when the next door guests make a lot of loud noise after 10pm.

The location was really close to the station. And the hostel roof can see the Mt Fuji without blockage which is a selling point for this hostel. The room was cleaned too.

It wasn't made clear that the showers were on a different floor to the women's bathroom before we booked the place so that was a bit of a suprise. And the only negative comment from my friend is that the hairdryer was a little old - worked perfectly fine though.

The location was the best part - 8min on foot from the train station. A welcome suprise was that they had a rooftop garden where you can see Mount Fuji perfectly! The beds were very comfy - the linen was extra soft. They provided us with personal slippers and towels, and the staff were super responsive over message - very unusual for Booking.com so I am very pleased! Check-in was smooth and effortless, everything done online - there is no staff in the hostel. Everything was very clean and they had a laundry room attached to the showers. This is by far the nicest hostel I have ever stayed at.

- room was not sound proofed at all, and the guests beside our room were very loud. the hostel provided earplugs though, and we were too tired, so we slept just fine. - shared shower space between men and women (a bit uncomfortable for us, a group of females, to be in a room with a half dressed male). we opted out to go to a public onsen instead.

- bed was very comfortable. - private room available for our group. - washrooms were clean. - free parking (upon reservation). - amazing view of mt. Fuji from the rooftop! - strategic location to food places. - unlike most hostels, they gave us free toothbrushes.
