Fantastic clean and nice house in the middle of Kyoto. Kyoto station is an 18 min. walk, and you can also take the bus anywhere you want from this location. Takashi is a great host!

Such a great place and experience staying here. It was nice for a change in our Japan trip to stay in the middle of a neighborhood, yet still not be too far from city transit options. The owner and host were very friendly. Pickup and drop off at the train station was certainly a plus. Nice added touches like having umbrellas at the entrance for a rainy walk, which we ended up needing, and bottled water in the fridge. For our family of 4, this place worked out really well.

Great accommodation in Kyoto, spacious house, we had lots of space for our family of five. Super clean and had everything we needed and more. Super friendly host, picked us up from kyoto station (which is only 20mins walk but we had lots of luggage) and explained everything about the house and local area. Very quiet neighbourhood but only short walk to shops, local temple and bus stops. Would recommend this place to anyone.

It was a lovely home away from home. It was an easy walk to Kyoto Station and local buses. Takashi our host made us feel very welcome and arranged transport for both pick up and drop off. Toji Temple was beautiful and we were so fortunate to have been there for the 21st of the month which was the temple flea market. Amazing. The kitchen was well set up for making our own meals. Being in a local neighbourhood meant we watched the children walking to school and got to chat with other locals.

We loved staying in this clean and very comfortable house. Our host was amazing and very welcoming. The location amongst schools and local shops meant we felt that we experienced real life Kyoto, yet it was easy enough to catch public transport to the tourist hot spots.

The house is everything we hoped for. Set in a quiet residential area next to a beautiful temple. Everything we could have needed was provided including chargers, cooking utensils and sauces/ spices, games console, umbrellas even plasters. This was a perfect place to stay, away from the crowds at the height of the season. The train station was an easy walk away and we used taxis a couple of times at the end of the day which were easy to catch from Kyoto station using the map provided by Takashi to communicate with the drivers.

Very clean. Close to bus service. Friendly, attentive hosts. All facilities were fantastic. Hosts picked us up and dropped from Kyoto station on arrival and departure. Would highly recommend. Absolutely loved our stay. Thank you so much. If we are ever back in Kyoto we will be back to stay. The best accommodation we stayed in while traveling across Japan.

The house was very clean , cozy and very comfortable. It was like a home away from home . Almost everything was provided . Mr. Takashi was so nice and kind of him picking and taking us to Kyoto Station . He is an excellent host . I will happily recommend his property to my friends and relatives.

There are some local peculiarities to take into account, but this is the case in all Japanese apartments. And we lacked furniture (we spread our clothes on suitcases), but this is also typical for all Japanese apartments I have stayed in.

Takashi san met us and then took us to the station, he was very hospitable and tried to help in various ways. The building is a typical Kyoto residential building, the feeling is very local. We really enjoyed our time in this apartment.

Takashi san even picked us up via his van from kyoto station when we got there and explained everything in the house for us. From how to use the different appliance and kitchenware from the house up to the complicated bathtub that is so great to soak in. we are a group of 4 with lots of baggage so the pickup to and from the house is very helpful.

The host is extremely friendly and helpful. The home has everything you need and is immaculate. Futons and other beds are very comfortable and warm. Lots of room to stretch your legs. Heated table was a real treat!

The days were humid, so the property felt damp to some in our group. Otherwise excellent! Location was south of the station, which is good for some activities, but a little further for others. Easy to use taxi to get around if necessary. Good to get to Nara via Kintetsu station.

Good property south of the station. Good for an extended family stay. Excellent to have laundry and drying facilities. Good to be met at the station, and taken back to the station on departure. Nice kitchen space to use at our leisure.

A little far from inner city. But we knew that before.

Everything was great. Very clean. Super friendly and helpful host. Quiet neighbourhood. We've been a group of 6 people/three couples. Every couple had its own room. We all been a little sceptical about the Performance of the washing machine - but it did a great job.
