Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Great location, convenience to shopping malls and public transportation spots, easy access from the airport and Kumamoto Station for day trip meet. Friendly staff are always there and quickly to response and support all of your needs. Also, a very nice breakfast choices for travelers to sample different style of breakfasts from Kumamoto. You don't need to have the same breakfast everyday, it's an exciting breakfast experience daily, just wish I can stay for more days and sample them all.

The table shelves in the hotel room were falling off. We had to inform the receptionist and she immediately came up to our room to do some quick, short-term fixing. Will recommend hotel to look into the room furniture.
Hotel is conveniently located within a shopping arcade, and near a tram station called Karashimacho.

Could have put Microwave inside each rooms. Fridge seems to be too old and it's hard to keep anything inside. Wish there was more counter space in restroom.

The location was good as it was near the shopping street and also near the bus terminal. The hotel also provided free amenities including facial masks for guests to use.

We only had a short stay. Parking is organised via a nearby parking lot (at a discounted rate). The hotel was very clean and comfortable to stay in and is right on a market shopping street. Staff were fantastic and very helpful.

Room space, but this is not going to change, you just have to adapt to having mostly small rooms when travelling in Japan.
Well located centrally, efficient and friendly staff, comfortable bed. The room does not leave much luggage space, which is not unusual in Japanese hotels. Plenty of toiletries and a good shower. Interestingly, this hotel is inside covered streets, where you can walk to dozens of restaurants, bars and shops and if it`s raining, never get wet! It is a vibrant area with numerous side streets to explore, and a10-15 minute walk to Kumamoto Castle, which incidentally, we found good to view from the outside but the inside was renovated into a castle museum on every floor, so while full of facts and figures etc, you never got to experience how it was originally. Didn`t eat here so can`t comment, as there was too much choice out and about!

No parking. They do have affiliated parking facilities but you will have drag the luggage for 5 to 10 minutes. Highly recommended hotel nevertheless.

Because of one way road, car cannot access in front of the hotel directly. And the hotel did not informed you before arrival,that the parking lot which cooperate with hotel is the far away one.
