Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe were limited to one restaurant as the resort was hosting an event for a large number of teenagers who, although well behaved, were very evident throughout the resort during our stay.

Hong KongDuring sat and Sun, we need to line up for breakfast even it is only 7 sth. It’s okay and understandable but the front desk of the restaurant staff (an old man) could be more friendly to give us the information for how long should we need to wait. However the front desk still got a good staff ( a young man) can tell us the estimated mins that we need to wait. That’s make us feel comfortable👍🏻

KazakhstanLocation is far from everything. We spent lots of money on taxis. "The grill" restaurant is the most expensive and food was the worst we have tried during our stay in Japan.

AustraliaI didn’t like that every little thing you had to pay for. Pay to rent a towel, pay to use a sunbed and umbrella at the beach, pay to use the sauna etc. For a resort I find it crazy that not one thing was included in your stay.
I loved the chill relaxed vibe they had at the resort and the staff were all very friendly

IsraelSeems like everything in this hotel requires an additional charge. want to use the inside pool? pay. want to use the beds in the HOTEL'S private beach? pay. parking? pay. "airport shuttle available" - is it? a day before our arrival the hotel sent me a message telling me there is no such service.
the blanket was heavy and cozy.

AustraliaA double bed for 2 over 65yrs that was stuck into a corner and whoever drew the short straw had to clamber over the other (or out of the end of the bed) to get out at nighttime for the bathroom - this setup is totally unacceptable. The dinner served at the al-a-carte restaurant (Senses) was appalling - a beef curry served had no meat, just gristle and fat disguised by the curry sauce. It was sent back and we chose no alternate so went without. Breakfast was the poorest of all breakfasts we enjoyed throughout Japan. Expensive and catering for families making every opportunity to profiteer in a captive market. The resort charged for extras at every turn. We were expected to purchase a one-off pass to use their indoor pool, The senior staff (management), talked down to the service staff, often rudely and expected them to convey a decision by management to guests. The junior (front facing staff were nonetheless very polite). We tried to get our room changed from the corner-bed double to something more accessible, but needed a very long and exhausting debate with management before they offered a change from night 3 of a 5night stay. They even wanted us to pay extra for it!
Outdoor pool pleasant, although zip-wire and drone activity for photos overhead took the edge off a quiet relaxing time. The ocean views from the room were nice. The lobby was impressive with its fishponds and lighting at night

IsraelThe indoor pool was out of order and we were mot informed before getting there, the weather wasn't warm and we were banking on that. We shortened our stay due to that and still did not get a refund for the entire sum. The staff weren't very helpful in the many questions/requests we had. They did not have or offer any luggage service unlike all the other 30 hotels we stayed in at Japan. And they couldn't help me at all. Everything was chargable, even a cup of coffee...
The rooms were clean and big, the lobby was nice
