Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very small rooms. Under bed/bedhead hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. A few hairs left in shower.

Check in is via a machine but staff are standing there available to help. Not flash but comfortable.
There are good laundry facilities. Right next to the station and a convenience store. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

The location was good as it was close to good public transport links and walkable to restaurants and bars, in the evenings.

Unexpectedly small rooms
A very well located hotel next to 2 subway entrances and within reasonable distance from the train station, reasonable breakfast ...for Europeans, but quite little variety when you stay 8 days, extremely friendly and helpful staff.

This a bit weird, on my stay in November I found a bra and underwear down a small gap next to the desk, I dropped something there and saw it. It was easily seen if looking but in fairness was black so not that visible to see by chance. Then just last week I came back to my room and again found a pair of ladies underwear just laying on the bed. I guess they were found by the cleaner who assumed they were mine. They were not. Honest !
I first used this chain in Kyoto last year and have booked with them 3 times since, in November last year in this hotel and again in Kyoto and Tokyo. The location is fantastic in that the subway entrance is next door. Not too far to get into the centre about 15 / 20 mins. The rooms are clean

It would be nice if the hotel offered free water like some of the hotels do and there should be a bag for housekeeping to collect the dirty towels rather than to leave them in front of the room but this is just a couple if suggestions and I had a great stay overall and would consider staying here again.
Great location next to the metro also has a very good restaurant with excellent menu choices that catered for all meals from breakfast to dinner

The room is very small, which isn’t an issue in itself but we had 2 large suitcases + hand luggage so it was cramped but as we were out all day exploring the amazing city it didn’t bother us too much, just getting ready in the morning could be a bit of a struggle.
The location is fantastic, the room is exactly what you need for Tokyo.

Slightly far away from main tourist locations, but very close to the underground/subway <1 minute walk. We wanted to book a private onsen with a view of Mt Fuji and had asked the reception to help us - however, they wouldn't/were not allowed to help us and instead directed us to the main lobby phone which required 100 yen for a 10 minute call.
Rooms are better than picture. Aircon was very strong and room was well ventilated. Mattress was comfortable. Bathroom was larger than expected. Staff spoke great English. Very easy to get on the airport limousine (3 min walk) to get to Haneda airport, I believe at the same bus stop - they have an airport limousine to Narita airport too - so very convenient to and from Tokyo's 2 major airport. Lawson, McDondalds and 711 was very close to the hotel, less than 3 min walk. Staff were very helpful and spoke English. Scales available in lobby to weigh luggage.

The bed was a little firm, the decor very dreary and brown, and the air conditioning difficult to find a comfortable balance.
The staff were extremely helpful and there were plenty of toiletries provided for free.

The room is somewhat on the small size but the bed was very comfortable and all the other standard amenities were also included.
Great location with the subway station literally outside the hotel . The staff were super helpful and helped me sort out a glitch in the booking as soon as we arrived . The restaurant attached to the hotel was extra handy and offered a great deal of choices and catered for breakfast , lunch and dinner. It was good to know that the staff were happy to arrange for our big luggage items to stay at the hotel since we were coming back to stay and that made a world of difference. The luggage was even left in the room so we did not have to carry them up to the room.Would definitely stay here again and very happy to recommend .

Room was small but knew that going in. Bed against the wall wasn’t ideal.
Train station right beside it. Location was great, couldn’t hear outside noise. Bed was comfortable and facilitates were good.

Clean and functional rooms with a mini fridge and kettle. Hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Facility to charge a phone via USB. Convenient location right next to a metro station. Plenty of restaurants, convenience stores and even a supermarket close by.
