Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaI was on the far corner of the 9th floor - and the WiFi didn't really stretch that far - kept dropping out. It was far better in the lobby. The room had a musty smell - had to have the reverse cycle aircon on all the time to get rid of the smell. Probably because they only have passive ventilation in the bathroom, and there is a sign on the bathroom door asking for the door to be shut when having showers as you could set off an alarm if the steam enters the room. Oh, and the mattress springs twanged a lot moving around on the bed - it was OK - just don't expect a great mattress.
Breakfast was excellent - and given they are called the Breakfast hotel - no qualms there - so much variety to choose from.

UkraineOverpriced for a given size and breakfast. It was ok, just there are a lot of options much cheaper with comparable quality. Size of the room is also small. All other places we stayed in this area were bigger for cheaper.
Good location and facility is good quality. Friendly staff.

South KoreaThe room size was really small. The walls were also somewhat thin.
I like the location the most! It was easy to find. Room was also comfortable with a nice bathtub. It was a lot smaller than I expected but it had all the necessities so the size was no problem. There also wasn’t a body lotion. Eitherways I wouldn’t mind staying again when next I’m in Fukuoka.

JapanI specifically chose this hotel because of the breakfast. Although everything is delicious like the chopped salad which i really like and the variety of purin but I really was looking forward to the fresh salmon and salmon roe bowl which is not available at this hotel branch.
My stay was really superb. The staff are exceptional making my stay comfortable. Everything was so nice and clean. The wifi is also fast.

JapanWasn't allowed to check in early (just 50 minutes before 3pm without a 2000 yen charge). With a young baby it would've helped just to be allowed in earlier. Could leave bags however.
Location is v good. Smoothie thing was a good idea. Breakfast didn't get it but was clearly v popular.

Hong KongThe room size is a little bit small for 3 people. My wife and I slept on a semi-double bed which is too small and soft for us. And I have back pain afterwards. My children slept on the single bed. We have to use the parking space outside as there are only 3 parking spaces offered by hotel without reservation.
Although we did not book the room with breakfast, I can see lots of people having breakfast and it should be good. We can enjoy free drink when we came back to hotel in the evening and there are lots of people having dinner with outside food and enjoyed the free drink. Coin laundry available.

United StatesTenjin location is small: small lobby and breakfast area, tiny rooms, etc The price was cheaper than the Hakata location though
The Tenjin location for the Breakfast Hotel in Fukuoka is smaller than Hakata--but it was cheaper. The rooms are tiny--perfect for one but a squeeze for two. But the best bit: Nomihodai! 500 yen for 4 hours--beer, highball, shōchū with 4 flavours of mixers. (think the deal ends at the end of August, but the regular price is still only 990 yen)

The breakfast was fantastic! The location was incredible you could walk to lots of things because it was within walking distance. Its also relatively close to the public transport stations. The staff by far made this hotel great; they were kind, they smile genuinely and they were extremely helpful.
