AustraliaThe hotel room could have had a little more storage drawers/hanging space. The main restaurant for evening meals could be a little more user friendly particularly for international visitors, eg you had to book before 5.30pm which we did not know.
Breakfast was very good. Excellent range of choices. By day two I was even venturing into Japanese food for breakfast, which I enjoyed. Having a guest self serve laundry was a massive bonus as we had been travelling for several weeks. Only negative was the washing/drying cycle took 120 minutes which was much longer then at home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sanraku Kanazawa. The hotel feels very new and stylish, with a warm atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with excellent beds and a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast buffet was outstanding – honestly the best breakfast we had on our entire trip, with both Japanese and Western choices of very high quality. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful: I had forgotten my cap in a restaurant and they organized everything so I could get it back – that deserves special praise. The location is also perfect, just a short walk to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden. A wonderful base to explore the city. Highly recommended!

Austria4 people (3 adults + 1 child) in a 3 bed room was not the best idea. I would book 2 rooms next time cause the 3 beds room is already an adapted version of a stanfard 2 bed room.

JapanNothing in particular. My room was the farthest from the elevator so it was bit of a hustle but it wasn’t a problem.
The building was clean and organized with a hint of Japanese traditional design while the room was pretty tidy and had enough space for luggage and resting. The garden in the middle of the building provided relaxing atmosphere. There were cute tea sets with spoons, few selection of local tea bags, a coffee machine, small fridge, a charging cable in the room and laundry machine in the hallway. Recommended for long stays! It was 5-10 minutes walk to Kanazawa castle and Higashi-Chaya district which was very nice.Staff were also nice during the stay. Totally recommend!
