Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanThe ladder to the upper cabin is a little awkward to get up and down. Because my booking was very last minute due to a cancelled train, I didn't ask if they had a lower cabin available, but if I stay there again in the future, I will request one.
It was right next to the station, so easy to find. The cabin is inside a hot spring facility and the whole place is massive, with a comic library, a cafe, etc inside. The hot springs include an outside bath area. The sleeping cabin was clean and comfortable. The staff checking me in didn't know much English but they were very helpful and did their best to make sure I was OK. They provided me with an English map and instructions.

Very clean, relaxing, great onsen indoor and outdoor.

ThailandI couldn’t find laundry machines. I dont think there was any.
The facility is very cozy, and despite a capsule hotel, the facility feels very premium at budget cost.

Hong KongThe bed is a bit thin and the capsule is quite stuffy. The onsen sometimes might be a bit dirty at midnight, but it's been a whole afternoon already you can't really blame them.
The onsen is great. The common area is big with a wide selection of comics. The location is great as well with a supermarket, gacha shop, mcdonald's and convenient store downstairs.

CanadaThe beds werent as comfy as previous capsule hotels I had stayed at.
Got to experience a public bath for the first time which I found pretty. Many restaurants inside to choose from and many vending machines with various items to buy inside as well. Pretty good value for the money paid for, would stay here again.

VietnamShould know Japanese to stay there with ease, but Google Translation can make it (I don't know Japanese) Need to ask the staff to open the door every time you go outside
Super convenient, has everything you need during a stay: food & drinks (has a variety), manga, onsen, work station, laundry, etc. Super close to JR Station (just go straight from the South exit to the hotel, nothing blocks you) The hotel is on the 2nd floor. There're escalators to go up & down so luggage is not a problem (the one to go down is on another end of the building). There're convenient store, DAISO, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, Mos Burger nearby.

JapanSome people are really noisy around 3, 4 am, and woke me up. If you are not used to sleeping on a hard bed or floor, you can add a mattress with extra charge. But if you do not want to, good luck..
The place is quite nice and clean, and you can relax outside the capsule cabin. I may stay there again.

JapanThe mattress was a bit too hard and it felt similar to sleeping on the floor with a sleeping bag.
It was very clean and hygienic. Lots of places to lounge around. The best part was the very many onsen baths in the bath! But for those who aren’t comfortable with onsens, there was also a private shower!

Japannothing in particular.
it was a bit crowded, but the facilities are well maintained and there are various kinds of entertainment in the hall, including manga corner, wifi access, sauna etc. The cabin was also clean and neat and could be considered quite big compared to most of the other capsule beds that I have tried so far.

United StatesIt was hard for me to find. I walked around at night for over an hour trying to find the location, even though I was nearby. The directions did not mention it is on the 2nd floor within the shopping center, and there is no sign with the name in English. The photo didn't look like the place, either. Luckily, the name was provided in Japanese; so I was able to ask someone at the grocery store for help.
I loved this experience. Almost like a retreat. The bath facilities (hot tubs/sauna) were relaxing and healing after long days of visiting Tokyo. Lounge wear, towels, lockers were provided. Everything was tidy and extremely clean. The capsule sleeping area was quiet, private, sturdy, comfortable, roomy: each pod had sheets, a pillow, blanket, shelves, TV and even a small closet w/a lock. There were restaurants, food/drink vending machines, lounge chairs, a library, work areas, fast Wi-Fi, all within the facility. Safe area with stores and train station nearby.

JapanHard mattress. Bad mobile connection ( but good WiFi), but the biggest issue I have with this place is the bath is not available from 9 to 10 am and that's the time I always go to the bath so... Ended up not showering. Shouldn't they start cleaning after check out time?
Clean, spacious floor and cabin, and I like the blanket a lot. Good WiFi.
