Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThey don't take gabage by hotel and you have to drop yourself.
The room is fine, as known it's japanese style. We booked two beds actually they are twin bed each. We appreciate the staff helping us to solve communication issue when we dropped sth in a store. The breakfast is OK with good varieties. There is life supermarket very close (2 mins walk) and you can enjoy a lot of original sashimi. And it's within walking distance of subway as well.

AustraliaBathroom was a little worn & just large enough for an adult, so standard for Tokyo. It was a little noisy in the morning when everyone was checking out. Thin walls didn't help & unfortunately some of the other guests stood outside our door talking loudly. Not the hotels fault but something to consider if you're a light Sleeper.
Great location within easy flat walking distance from the station. There are two buildings & we were put into the annex. Twin room was cosy however pretty standard for Tokyo. Enough room to put our bags under the beds. Nice & comfortable beds, air con worked well as did the shower. Overall we were happy with the room, location and the staff were very friendly. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, cafe's, a couple of malls, food outlets, everything you could want. Try the local gyōza & Kameido Yakisoba!

South AfricaNothing was unlikable. I think everything was up to standard for the cost they charged.
I really liked the breakfast we had. It was so authentic and well prepared, and the staff was also very resourceful. The lady at breakfast was very good. I also liked the great location from the train stations to the hotel.

ArgentinaThe room was smaller than expected, even when compared to other Japanese hotels I've stayed at; there was no space to open our bags other than on top of our beds, and barely any space between our beds. There were no electric sockets close to the beds. While the room ended up being confortable and we got used to it, this was all rather shocking the first night. Also the public toilet in the reception of the second building wasn't clean, but we only checked once; it's possible we went there the only time it was dirty.
The location was excellent, very close to the Kameido JR station and at a walkable distance from the Kinshichō station. The neighbourhood was nice and full of different shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly. The room was well equipped, including toiletries, hair drier, microwave, pen and paper, AC, wi-fi, etc. Even a little, private balcony. While room service was not included and had to be payed separately, we knew this beforehand and it worked in our favor.

AustraliaHad to climb over each other and our bags due to small size of room. Pillow was uncomfortable (buckwheat).
Close to two different stations, so easy to get to other parts of the city. Friendly staff. Laundry machines so you can wash and dry your clothes, need coins though staff are willing to break down notes, and you can withdraw money from the nearby Lawson's.

AustraliaI found it terribly difficult to use the bathroom facilities because they were so small. I am a tall person with limited mobility so I was unable to swing my leg over the tub to get into the shower. There is a very high step going into the bathroom pod which also made it difficult for me to enter. Perhaps I booked the wrong room? Also I found using the microwave challenging because it is located on the bottom shelf very close to the floor. If you are elderly or physically challenged, I would not recommend this hotel.
Kameido is a nice place to stay. The hotel is located 700 m from the station and a short two minutes walk to a shopping centre with a great food hall. The staff at this hotel are very helpful and happy. Reception is available 24 hours a day. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. If you are a young person looking for budget accommodation then this is ideal.
