Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing. All perfect.
Wonderful hotel. And just a 2 minute walk from the town, 5 minutes from the centre. Great pool (cool enough to get relief from this hot weather). Gorgeous rooms with excellent housekeeping. Good breakfast. Great customer service from the staff. They helped us organise our sunrise Angkor Wat trip and other trips. I recommend using their driver and guide. So good, we extended our stay 3 times! We've been travelling South East Asia for 4 months and stayed in 36 accomodations so far, ranging from budget to luxury. This is the best one.

United KingdomFood was good, but not excellent. Pool area could use a few more sun beds.
Original traditional design was a great respite from the hot and noisy city. Really helpful staff organising early picnic breakfast for Angkor Wat and generally very kind and helpful.

United Arab EmiratesThe noise outside the premises from the Bars and pubs. It was very high (maybe due to the water festival) so the hotel did provide us with ear the ears cancellation plugs on a daily night. Some nights it was OK, and other were a bit too noisy. However to be fair, the hotel did everything in their power and control to minimise the problem.
I liked everything about this place. Staff is friendly, rooms were clean, neat and spacious. The services the hotel provides to ensure that we have a memorable stay.

CanadaThe only issue is the restaurant, unfortunately. While the staff there is fantastic, the food is really sub-par. Breakfast is mediocre: fruit is delicious, of course, but the bread table is puzzling, especially because there is a delicious bakery with excellent croissants, sandwiches and the like just across the street. Pomelo salad was okay, but again, you can get better anywhere, and other lunch and room service dishes were really not that great for such a beautiful luxury hotel. Not bad of course, just a little off for such a great hotel. Again, the setting is so gorgeous and the staff so lovely, that if they just invested a bit more in the restaurant food - it would be a splendid hotel.
This hotel is out of a dream - gorgeous, lush, so green and peaceful, so full of colourful flowers. The pathways are full of greenery, and lead you down into hidden areas, such as a serene pool that feels like an oasis from the outside heat: covered by palms overhead, with a smattering of sun peeking through. Room are pristinely clean, comfortable and perfect for the Siem Reap days - not overly fanciful, but just right. AC works well. Service is absolutely lovely, welcoming and effective. Location is perfect, great for walking around, lots of coffee places, restaurants within a few minutes walk, with shops and convenient stores right next door. Wifi works well. Breakfast fruit is good, fruit drinks are perfect for poolside relaxing - and there is service for cars and tours if you so choose.

United States of AmericaNothing I can think of.
From the very first moment, we walked in this hotel and everything about it was beautiful. The staff greeted us and proceeded to take care of us for our entire stay. The breakfast was nice out on the water each morning as well as all of the spa services we used every day. Additionally, what I would say about the room is that it was just like the pictures and very comfortable for the two of us, Cambodia is hot so for Americans, so you better get used to not having freezing cold air-conditioning all the time that would be the only thing I’d warn people about. But that’s not the hotels fault. Hotel was a great location lots of places to shop and dine with plenty of drivers around. The hotel also organized our Angkor Wat trip and took care of our airport transfers. Use their people—it was worth the expense if you want no worries. Cambodia and its people are gentle and hospitable. I’d highly recommend!

United KingdomWe booked a water view room and while beautiful, the lighting was extremely dim (even in the bathroom). But the thing we found most difficult was the poor Wi-Fi in our room for a hotel if it’s calibre. We also found the expectation of tipping every time we bought anything, and again a second tip at the final bill out of kilter with the rest of our hotel stays.
This hotel is like an oasis with beautiful vegetation and water features around. Its location is very central, so it’s easy to visit local amenities.
