Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSome parts of the hotel smell like mould - curtains in our room definitely had mould stains on them (e.g. the flower clippers used to draw the curtains)
Great location

United KingdomThe rooms are all marble floors with wood furnishings. There is no attempt at soundproofing this with rugs etc so you can hear everything everyone in the building is doing. I was awoken early every morning by the noise from other guests rooms. Especially when children were staying.
Rooms are very spacious and clean. Excellent location right in the centre of town so you can walk to all the restaurants.

VietnamThe place was stunning and i love the friendliness of the man at the receptionist even though we dont understand each other languages. And in my opinion, the price is suitable for the room's quality and the location of the guesthouse.

CambodiaWhat probably spoilt the stay ( 3 nights ), was no offer to clean the room, provide clean towels or provide water during the stay. I don’t normally worry about the room being cleaned every day, but fresh towels at least once during a 3-4 day stay would have been appreciated.
Very handy location. Spacious room and bathroom with good shower pressure. Comfortable and clean on arrival. Reception staff pleasant to deal with.

AustraliaIt's in the centre of town. It's close to a temple so ear plugs are handy for early morning chanting. Best food in town, Jenny's corner Thai restaurant and bar is close by....

EstoniaA bit too strict house rools for quests, while having a loud conversation early in the morning was aloud for hosts. Keep in mind, you are a quest in a questhouse, not client in a hotel.
Really good location, comfortable bed, lot of lighting options in a room. Overall good stay and recomend, but keep in mind

United KingdomNot the hotels fault, we may have been unlucky, but other quests were quite loud and there was a fair bit of outside noise from people so not the best nights sleep.
Excellent location, right on the roundabout so a 2 minute walk to town and food. If you are a runner like us there is a free 400m track right next to the hotel. Our bus arrived very early and we were able to check in early with no extra charge which was great. Huge rooms with Netflix and a good bathroom. Real family feel.

ThailandThe hot water heater was not working. But using cold water for the shower is still ok, as the weather is hot too.
Very quiet place, good for sleeping! Have a large parking lot after the gate. Room is quite clean, and the whole place is cleaned good. Good size of the room. Nearby is located a gym place "Iron gym". Walking distance to all eating places in Kampot. Don't hear luring swallows swallows which is good.

AustraliaA pool would have been welcome. There was no lift for luggage although the stairs are manageable and the staff assisted.
Our family of five adults was comfortably accommodated in three rooms in the lovely, modern NyNa Villa. The twin room was particularly large. Air-conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat overnight. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were good. Breakfast was not provided but there are options close by.
