Was unable to open the door to my room at all. A staff member had to come up and kick the door and force it to open every time I wanted to go back into my room. Also dirty room with ants everywhere but not much they can do about ants

The rooms are ok, but the bathrooms and absolutely dirty. There is mold everywhere, the sink doesn’t flow correctly, this was a absolute lack of hygiene! There is also no dimming pool or area to chill… it could have been great since there’s not much to do in Kratie.

The family hosting is the cutest one, they speak great English and some French. They would help for anything you need and organize great dolphin tours with kayak. The food is great and homemade and in the cheapest of the city. Great location, and laundry service.

The staff are friendly. We didn't expect any luxury but for the same price you can get better accommodation than this one. Both nights there was a concert behind the building. So a very noisy place. It looks like an old place and needs some renovation (hole in the wall, old furniture ) The rooms are not so clean, maybe it would be better if they care more about this.

Bathroom was small and not well maintained. Our seat was really manky and annoyingly such an easy, cheap thing to replace. Overall the place had a rundown feel to it. But pretty cheap.

Friendly staff. Booked kayak tour with them (the owner was our guide) and it was really good. Nice rooftop view for sunset. Technically free water but it was often empty and didn't get renewed for hours. Food in restaurant was OK and reasonably priced. Not much atmosphere but an ok cheap place to stay for a night or 2.

First - there are no dorms any more. Now is the low season and i can't find any forener or traveler in Kratie. The location is next to a school so the kids start singing at 7am I order room with ceiling fan - the door doesn't lock in the toilet was broken, they said the other family room is leaking so they moved me third room with aircon and give me a small fan, I said I will pay about the aircon but eventually it wasn't working. So I used only the small fan all night and it was very very hot.

The owner was great. Very helpful. Very understand. I canceled one night no problem (originally ordered 2) and he helped me to rent motorbike and explain to me how to go to Campi where the Dolphin place is. And also was honest and sad like the kayak tour because the low season wasn't worth the money.

Good location, nice host, spacious room. They let us check in at 1am however they didn't reply to our late check in request so we just showed up unknowingly but you just need to knock on the shutter and they will let you in

Really nice hostel really near the night market. The beds were comfy (curtains and sockets on each one). The room had a double bed in it as well which was strange but I didn't stay there. There's a bathroom near the dorm and another one upstairs. It was very clean. The lovely owner also offered extra fans as it was so hot. Downstairs was crowded but there was space to sit. The owner spoke great English and very super lovely. Laundry also smelt amazing when they washed my clothes.

Nice welcoming hostel. Beds and pillows are comfy and clean. Even though the temperature is high in the city the hostel has plenty of ventilation so there's a nice breeze keeping it cool. Meals are good too and location is perfect to watch the sunset go down by the river.

There are some plumbing issues so water leaks into room and smells.
